So, I come in July 8 and bought 3 Play store cards...which cost $300.00...i used my bank card and transaction was approved...but on cashier side it showed declined...he called for manager, BRENDA...and she looked through it and printed my receipt showing my playstore cards and other items were approved and paid for ..so, she said if there is a problem with your playstore cards come back tomorrow and I will take care of it .. thought I had good service and felt comfortable that if the playstore cards didn't work that it will be took care of. I come in today, and I tell her that they didn't work, of course she tells me she can't do anything and HER manager will be here at 5 pm ...I'm annoyed of course...and while I'm staring at her, she tells me DON'T roll your eyes at me! Well as far as I knew I was just staring at her...if I rolled my eyes, I was unaware ..but, even if I did, that was COMPLETELY uncalled for her to say to me as I was completely trying to hold in my aggravation to begin with over this. Why are cashier's allowed to be soo rude? Especially when you are really doing good at being calm over the situation and not be angry!!! If I rolled my eyes....that would be so much better then me coming unleashed over a possible loss of $300.00, that she said she would take care of if my cards did not go through! None the less, my bank card charged me for them, and I want my money back! So now I wait for another manager for another 25 minutes........so....forward an hour later, I go back and talk to manager..He states that my purchase was declined and i apparently left with $413.00 dollars worth of stuff, $300.00 being playstore cards for free?!...My bank clearly charged my card, but they didn't get their money from my purchase?!! Now they tell me if I want to dispute the fact that I bought these playstore cards I have to go to the bank to dispute it?!!! WHAT?!!!! If I paid for my items,but they didn't get paid,which would includes not activating my playstore cards, why am I the victim here? And why is he telling me that I have to go to my bank to work this out?! None of this makes sense to me!!!! I am not the one who messed up here and I deserve someone from corporate to help me solve this issue!!! You are the experts ..your store let me leave with my purchase ,while I'm told I can come back the next day if my playstore cards don't work and it will be taken care of!!!!! HELP!!!!July 8th...cont...my bank has charged me for the amount I will show...the card was approved first time I used chip ...the cashier made an error, other cashier come to help and next thing she does is print receipt and tell me if I have a problem come back, I did,then they show that my items werent paid for and they are at a loss.. because they some how aborted my items my bank charged my card and they tell me i have to go to bank and figure it out. They made the mistake ,that's why it shows it as a loss...I paid in full and I'm at a loss of $300.00 playstore cards because they aborted the purchase, therefore those were declined.....Now why am I having to take care of this myself and obviously getting nowhere?!! Please, I need a higher up from corporate to resolve this!!! There mistake, not mine!!

Family Dollar and Dollar general have a few things in common. The aisles are always cluttered or blocked with product yet to be shelved. Most cashier's are rude and none can count back change correctly..

very HOT in this store!!! I've been in several times & still no AC. 3 months it's been like this. The portable ac unit they have in there doesn't help any. Where is OSHA o_O

I am absolutely FURIOUS with these employees workplace! The employees are amazing! But the corporate office chooses $$$$ and tax write offs before their employees! They have had to work in excruciating heat! No air-conditioning! Ever since Shawnee tornado damage! It is the HOTTEST time of year!!!! What the hell is wrong with that picture? Please...help these guys!!! They should get paid time off until this situation is fixed!!!! Stay tuned for pictures....

The cashier was super nice and helpful! She helped us pick out a good energy drink and deserves 5 stars ?But please give those poor people A/C!!! I was uncomfortable for the 5 minutes I was there, I can't imagine lasting a whole shift in there ?

I'm giving a low rating for an unhealthy work environment. I walked around the store for less than 5 minutes and was sweating. There's an air conditioner in the middle of the floor that seems to not work. The cashier looked drained and miserable. FD you have got to do better.

Its an OK store. Drawbacks are homeless allways loitering out front, and this store will be out of certain items for long periods of time.

It was wonderful. The lady helped me with clearance prices. I'm so cheap I had to see if they were lower yet. And they were. She was super sweet and very polite. Thank you to her for making my day a little brighter.
