The grandchildren and I had a fantastic couple of hours here. The main museum is in a large former hotel (Lee) and each room has a different theme. So much to look at, lots of mannequins in period dress, many dioramas, beautiful art, a pink clothes washer. I know I say this alot but this is not to miss. BTW grands are young 6-12. They loved it. That said, when you are done the curator will take you to the fire museum...

The tour guide Rachel is amazing! After I Know more about the history of Sapulpa, I felt more humble about everything. I appreciated it.( Rachel~I finished my Route 66 road trip safe at Santa Monica, thank you for everything! JiaLing from Taiwan)

Amazing. The tour guide really made the museum feel alive. It's very unique and all of the staff were really fun. Our tour guide even showed us some places back-stage and even told stories about how she set up some of the museum. The whole thing was awesome and so was the history (I'm a history nerdy) There are a few replicas and the replicas looked like actual relics. Not only that, but the building has a sub-building (that's the only way I can describe it) and it is supposed to be a fire department. Overall this was AMAZING.This place was massive! The whole place feels 100% alive.

Great variety of exhibits and information. Mike gave me a warm welcome and so much of his time to put everything in context and answer my questions.

This museum gets more interesting at each visit. I brought my 10 & 2 year old here. I do not recommend bringing toddlers here because they are so "handsy" and this is a hands-off museum. We made it through each exhibit and I wish I could have stayed longer to read more posts. Rachel, who works the museum was so kind to show us the Sapulpa Fire Museum! It was down the block for a short walk and quite a treat! I'll make a separate review for that museum.

The museum has nice exhibits - general stores, classrooms, kitchens and the railyard. The tour guide was knowledgeable and had personal stories about Sapulpa. We enjoyed our visit and learning about the history of Sapulpa, OK.

Cool museum. It really can compete with others because of the displays and how much they have. The only bad part was the lady in the wheelchair that followed us around like a creep or like we were stealing something. She never even told us she was an employee.

We had our 50th(51st) because of Covid at the Museum. We also had our Reunion meetings there, so I took a little tour afterwards.Thank you Mike Jeffries for all your help. Also, Bob Boren was volunteering one of the days, he used run around with my oldest brother. The last time I can remember seeing Bob was in 1983 at my brother's funeral. It was great to see him. The ladies were nice and helpful also. Coming back soon and telling friends and family they need to go look at what is there. You folks have done "SapulpaProud"
