“Kens store is sadly closed. I hear it will be reopened But see no sign going up.But we do have a dollar general right next door to where Kens store was. It has always been a part of my past memories. Ken was in my opinion a very good man. We miss him . He and Joann seemed like my family. I worked for them for many years. Loved working there❤️”

“I love the selection of food they have in their kitchen and it is all pretty good at a reasonable price. The employees are always nice and quick to check you out or help you with something. I always like to get my fountain drinks there because they have the crispiest pop, it is so fresh. They have many kinds of snack and sweets to suit your mood. They do sell beer and wine. Their prices on the convenient items are a bit too high but it's understandable for the quick service and accessibility to the store.”

“Easy on and off stop for gas with the highway. Parking lot large enough to get large tow vehicles in and out. Did not use the convenience store so cannot comment on that.”
“This business has been here a long time. I remember as a kid getting all dressed up just to walk across the street to buy drinks out the pop machine. Crazy to love by it and it's still open after all these years.”

“I didn't know if they were open still. I haven't been able to drive down highway 51 in forever. I love that drive. For me it feels like fun. Well anyways glad to see a photo a girl took and I see that street you turn down to go to 41st street and I see that gas station still open there. I'll check it out someday.
