In short, Barker Transmission is a great place to get transmission work done. If you’re interested in details I have several; Scott Barker was very informative and helpful when I called and was quick to get my 2005 GMC Yukon XL Denali in the shop. There was good communication throughout the process that ensured me there would be nothing replaced on my vehicle without him contacting me first and during that process I learned just how much care Scott and his team put into the work that they do. They focused on all aspects of my car that directly affect the performance of the transmission and not just the transmission itself. The price point was very reasonable compared to a lot of other shops that I called. They got the job done in the timeframe they gave me. And there was simple honesty and transparency all along the way. Scott is straight to the point and very knowledgeable and I feel the end result was worth every penny. After one full month my Yukon is still shifting excellent and performing better than it has in a long time. An all around five star job well done, just how it should be.

Scott and his team were amazing!! They answered all of my questions. Scott himself was available anytime I called. Instead of doing what I asked them to do, they did extensive diagnostics and saved me thousands of dollars and my vehicle runs flawlessly. I would recommend them to anyone.Service: Transmission

I'd just like to say this is the most honest auto shop I'd ever used. I had a transmission rebuilt back in 2020 I had an issue in 2023 with a radiator failure with a full warranty my transmission failed 2 years later. I returned to Scott's shop with the full intention of having to pay to have it rebuilt again. Scott informed me there would be no charge to replace it. not only did he replace my tranny he fixed my door lock and changed my engine oil. I recommend his shop. and I'll be taking my vechicles to him from now on. i give him the highest rating possible.

Scott and his team were great! Scott gave a better inspection for free than a local shop did for $175. His inspection pointed out other things that needed to be fixed at the same time. I recommend highly anyone that needs work done to see him if you're in the Pryor Oklahoma area.Services: Transmission repair

Just stopped in for some wisdom . After it quickly became apparent that they weren’t going to be able to fix my issue, Scott still took some of his precious time (shop was full) to discuss things further and gave me a tip to correct a problem on another vehicle. Almost wished I had a transmission for him to fix. No doubt I will in the future. Super Recommend
