Fixed my quarantine hair! My hair is curly and ends are prone to a lot of extra dryness in this New Mexico climate. I also had strange looking layers after growing my hair out from an asymmetrical bob/undercut during 2020. With the help of some photo examples, the stylist understood exactly what I wanted and gave me a wonderful trim with proper layers. My hair feels so healthy. The dead weight and dry ends are gone. I am thrilled that my hair wasn't chopped too short. My hair looks great no matter how I style it. The salon is very cute and the owner is really nice and provides a lovely experience.

Blown Away Hair Studio is definitely one of the best places to get your hair done as well as other services offered. I am not a local but am glad I made the decision to get my hair done here. Suzy was very welcoming from the moment I walked into the salon, I showed her a picture of what hair color I wanted and explained to her my idea. Never have I been more pleased with a hair salon visit, she defintely knew my vision and thats exactly what I got. Will definitely be returning when I am back in town.

I got my hair dyed here a while back. Took hours to do and got charged over $200 it was almost $300 after tip my bf was treating me to it and he didn't care but I felt bad because the outcome was orange brass hair and I felt like I wasted his money. She was pregnant and tried her best and I tipped her well for her time I thought it would look better after I washed it and saw it the next day since it was already dark. I was disappointed. I tried the purple shampoo but it didn't help. I tried another place in Clovis and the lady who did my hair took maybe 2 hours if that and you can see the difference almost immediately. My hair wasn't orange anymore. I don't bash on pregnant women or anything Ive been through it but I'd like to also say that she was also pregnant and it was her last day before she went on maternity leave so I don't think pregnancy was the issue just the service and outcome. Update. Yes it was later that I posted the review because I was waiting to dye my hair again and see if her recommendation would help (purple shampoo). My hair was brown originally she said the outcome would be as close to the color I wanted several times, which wasn't even completely blonde. She dyed it several times that day and I know it takes several appointments to get it a certain color but my hair was literally orange. I was not going to complain to a pregnant woman about my hair being that I know that stress can cause harm to her and she had been trying for hours. It was late and I just wanted to go home.

Suzy is great. My son and I have been going to her for almost a year now and she is always responsive and accommodating to our appointment request times. My wife claims my haircuts are now the best ever and that I should never go anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Suzy is the first hairstylist I started going to on a regular basis. She is great at what she does and I’ve never been disappointed walking out of her studio. I’m sad to leave but thank you for the last two years as my hair stylist.

If you're looking to get your hair done, this is the place!! I've been coming here since I was 15/16, and I've never been disappointed. The staff is super personable, and have become family friends over the years. Diane always does a phenomenal job with my color & cut!!!
