Mr. Brittons wife is on her deathbed right now but he is the best repairman you ever want to meet he is prompt and your sewing machine works again like a charm
I learned to repair sewing machines back when I was a kid. My mom had an old Singer, that had lots of problems, and I was gifted with mechanical abilities, so learning was easy. Then at 16 I was working part time, washing windows, with a friends dad. One stop along the way was a sewing machine store. One day while washing his windows, Mr Meek's, ask me if I would like to learn to repair machines. It took me maybe a minute to say yes. I worked three afternoons a week with him, for a couple of years. Then one day he offered me a full time job! looking back, I should have taken it. My wife and I opened, a small quilt shop back in 07, and almost every customer asked about machine repair. So I thought it over, and started doing it!
