On Sunday 8-28-2022 my insurance provider dispatched this tow truck this service at approximately 1pm in the afternoon. The driver called and said he would be delayed since they are one driver down and I understood I am a service professional as well. I was sent a text at 1:55pm asking for a GPS location and assured the driver was on the way. I asked for a update at 3pm (the ETA was roughly 2:30pm). I received a reply after a second text at 3:39pm saying he is on the way. The tow arrived at roughly 4:45pm and the DRIVER was professional and knowledgeable (got me hooked and rolling in under 15 minutes). At 5:05PM the tow truck runs out of fuel (For a 30 mile tow). Not the Drivers fault the fuel gauge apparently was not working correctly. By the time the owner or mechanic arrived it was after 8PM before we reached the garage and the tow was completed. At that time whoever the man was that brought fuel got us rolling he never apologized or communicated. The driver did over and over and was exemplary. Long story short the tow was 10 miles over and I agreed to pay the $40.00 extra for that mileage however when unhooked the driver never charged me so I assumed this was a courtesy at that point for a tow that should have been 1-2 hours at best becoming a all day affair. I got a message the next morning asking to make arrangements for the overage to be paid and needless to say I am not happy. The company is lacking as I see it in many ways and a measly 10 miles should have been waived considering I idled and waited for 7+ hours because the fuel gauge wasn't working and they are short on help. Sad but true. A deal is a deal and no doubt I will paid the $40.00 as agreed however my insurance provider has been filled in and one would think $40.00 would be a small price to pay for a good review verses a lousy one. I cannot recommend this company for anyone but I hope the driver finds a better job he was a good man.

I've taken my F-250 to Performance a few times for general maintenance as well as repair work, Scott has always been straight forward and honest with me, worked around getting my truck in and out fast when I've been in a pinch and needed it for work. Not sure what the negative reviews are about but I'll be going back and highly recommend this shop.

Not sure where the other posts went that are stating what they are stating. They will work to make sure everything is right so there must not be a reasonable exchange in other situations - it’s funny how so many other businesses are mentioned in positive terms in Performance posts - they’re working on performance mods on my Z28 and will settle for no less than getting it done right.

Took my truck to them with a very specific vacuum/exhaust leak problem. Exhaust or smoke started filling the cab of my truck while driving down the highway. They did not even fix the issue, instead \\\"fixed\\\" something completely unrelated and still had my original problem, tried calling them on multiple occasions as well as Foster's Auto Body also tried calling them on multiple occasions, with no answer or call back.(Foster's Auto Body was handling my insurance claim)(Foster's is great). Took my truck to Pinnacle in Owasso and they completely fixed everything. Performance Auto and Diesel fixes things that don't need fixed and are complete scam artists. DO NOT take your vehicle here unless you just want to throw money away!

if zero or negative was only a option. had work discussed and set up. verified. dropped off and never touched. could not reach. went by excuses after excuses and a attitude when this was discussed. said he would get it done. then called next day and said cant do it. talked to another shop he shares business with and they said its a daily issue and they have problems due to him also. i feel for them. i have no idea how they stay in business. i would not recommend them to anyone when they stand by nothing and waste peoples time.

My car broke down and was impounded. I called a towing company that ended up never showing up. I then called Performance towing and they were there in less than an hour. Great friendly and professional service. Highly recommended.

Run the other way fast!!! Had a good sized project that, based on my estimates, I was over charged in labor hours for by more than 30%. Always get a fixed price for the repair with this shop because they will stretch out the labor hours big time. In my opinion they cannot be trusted! A lot of the work was suspect, I even had to get some of it redone by a reputable shop with more knowledge, skill, and ability. Their billing and documentation process was highly disorganized as well. In the end I just got my vehicle out of there to keep from getting ripped off further and finally get the project completed. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but if this will save someone else from getting ripped off and having such a terrible experience then it’s worth it.

I own a Dodge diesel and had an issue with the turbo, I had originally taken my pickup to another mechanic shop to whom I will not name but I do give 1 star to.....they wanted to charge an astronomical amount to repair the turbo and then told me that my head gasket was leaking and that HAD to be replaced first.....I decided to shop around because I was going to wait to do the repairs and I came across Performance Auto and Diesel....I called and was talking to the Steve the owner and he shared valuable information on what was going on with my vehicle and his price to do the same repair was a lot less. He spent time with me on the phone to help me figure out what exactly was wrong and what can be done. He spent this time knowing that I might not bring my pick up to his shop....I appreciated that. In the end I decided to take my pick up to his shop and asked him several times to charge me an extra shop rate hr for the time on the phone...his response was " I will not do that to you, I want to make sure you are helped and happy with your repair. I'd rather have your long term business and referral" I will say that I am very pleased with his professionalism on the phone and work. Their shop is super clean and they honestly do care about their customers...they are definitely not trying to upsell or gouge your pocket. They have definitely earned my business and referrals! Thank you Steve and the gang!

Excellent service. Had a couple issues and they took care of each in a very professional manner. Randy is a true caring pro. You won't regret bringing your vehicle to them. In fact I would suggest when you have a car issue, take it to Performance Auto and Diesel! *****
