“I’ve financed with Western Sun since I was 18, my family has been with them for much longer. As of today I was able to buy another car through Western Sun, with the help of Owasso Branch Manager Cade. I’m 23 and the experience of car-buying is intimidating for anyone, but Cade made it extremely easy for my dad and I throughout this process. He was quick to respond to emails, phone calls, and made time for a quick (unplanned) in-person meeting to go over some things during his busy day! If you’re considering a credit union, I’d go with Western Sun!”

“So I needed to go inside of the bank and have them add and change some things on my accounts. Everyone inside the bank was so friendly and a guy with red hair was greeting every person who walked in with a smile and a welcome back to BOK. I waited for one of two girls that had previously helped me with this issue already. However they were busy at the counter so Rhonda decided she would help me. She asked what I was needing to have done I explained everything. Which she wasn't listening. Then rolls her eyes multiple times. I have a video on my phone of her doing it. She kept rushing me. She did not care about my needs or why I was even there. While in the middle of talking she literally tells me to stop talking because she is in a hurry. Like okay cool. Because she chose not to listen the 3 times I explained what I was needing she then of course does the wrong thing. So she asks me to sign the paper to find out she didn't do the right thing. I then explain that she's going to have to fix it. She retypes it up and it was finally correct. As I'm trying to sign the forms She is telling me to hurry up because she had to be somewhere in 7 minutes. Like you shouldn't have taken me into your office if you needed to leave. I would have gladly waited for someone else. I ended up having to call the express bank to make sure she actually did what I went in to do. I have been banking at BOK for 20+ years. Never had any issues until recently. Also come to find out Rhonda is the executive branch manager for the Owasso location. It's sad that she acted that way but the other employees were amazing. Also I passed 10 BOK's on the way to Owasso. But because I had amazing care previously I thought I'd go back. Yeah Rhonda ruined that. If I ever have to go back to the Owasso branch I would rather wait hours before encountering Rhonda again. Pretty sure you don't get to treat people the way you did me. I gave 4 1/2 stars because of the other staff. Because they were amazing. Rhonda doesn't deserve any stars.
I sure hope you all fix this issue. We don't have to bank with you but we do. We like BOK and how they run things. They have a phrase if it's important to you it's important to us. Except what was important for me was not important for Rhonda.”

“Nice people, competent and knowledgeable. Almost always instant service, no waiting in line. Everything is nice except the stupid new name of “we street” instead of Tulsa Federal Credit Union. The new name does nothing to describe their service. It is about as definitive and elegant as calling it “ gazornaflatz” or humbadeebee !”

11501 E 76th St N, Owasso“I recommend everyone to Arvest when the topic of banking or checking comes up. I liked when they used to stay open until 8pm, now it's not as late but still later than most banks. Everyone I've spoken to and dealt with have always been extremely nice and helpful. I love that they offer free checking with optional overdraft protection. My husband and I have been members of Arvest since we met about 19 years ago. We have done business with a local credit union and they don't compare to Arvest! My husband and daughter just closed their checking accounts with them because my daughter moved over to Arvest after some unauthorized debits the credit union did on her account. I know that would never be a problem with Arvest. I did not know Arvest had a free checking available for teens or we would have opened with them instead. Arvest is always quick to call when there is suspicious activity on our accounts. I have learned ALWAYS answer the phone when they call because it usually means someone's trying to use your account fraudulently. My mom has a different local bank she has had for years. I've tried and tried to get her to switch to Arvest but she's set in her ways. An overdraft fee is $11 cheaper with Arvest than her bank. Arvest is open later, they have better online banking... I could go on and on. Also when her check was stolen it was a huge hassle vs. the times our checks have been stolen or account hacked. If course it's always a hassle no matter the bank, but Arvest does most of the legwork for you and doesn't make you take off work to run all over town filing police reports and sending in paperwork. They also have a fantastic referral program that I hope they continue to do long term. If I could refer you I would and we would both get $50! Now what bank does that?! I'm sure its against Yelps rules otherwise I would leave you my referral link. “I've been using this bank since 2016, and have had no issues. Plus the customer service is great!I also have had a car loan through here and was given a great interest rate for a first time buyer. Plus the app is super easy to use, to pay my car payment without having to come in.Definitely won't be going anywhere else.”
