I’ve been going to this store for many years. It is my go-to store. Today I needed my battery checked after waiting all day for Triple AAA to jump my truck. I was refused by the employee because they don’t check batteries below 40F - it was 36F. In fact he referred me to O’Rileys. He was doing NOTHING. Guess my little problems don’t matter- that’s ok. O’Riley’s is my go-to store. Maybe you should make it yours. Boo!!

I will never go back to this store. I purchased headlight bulbs and they were the wrong ones (my oversight), upon first attempt to return them (the next day), the employee there said rudely "this is why I always have people bring in their original bulbs" as if implying I'm some type of dumb a$$, and then in order to return I needed the same credit card to swipe - I did not have that card at that time, so I explained I would have to come back. The second time trying to return (a week later), I was told their policy was not to return electrical items even if the package had not been opened. I couldn't believe this and asked if there was a manager to speak to and he pointed at himself and smugly said, "I am the manager". I asked if he was serious and he again repeated they would not take them back. He then stated he would exchange them for the correct bulbs - this would insinuate they could take them back, they just don't want to lose a sale. I had already taken care of the bulbs so I did not need an exchange. I simply wanted my money back in exchange for me returning perfectly packaged bulbs that I cannot use. I will never go back to this store or any Advance Auto if this is going to be their stance & policy.

My boyfriend and I came in to purchase new windsheild wipers. After they were done helping the other customers, we had walked up to the counter and the woman immediately gave us an almost disgusted face. We asked her if she could help us find the right windshield wipers for the car and if she could come help us look for the best one for the best price. She asked us (sounding very annoyed for some reason?) about the car and did a quick search and told us the sizes, but was quick to turn and continue what she was doing before. We decided to walk around a little more and when I would turn corners to the next isles the workers would be staring at us and watching us shop. We finally went to the wiper isle and a man came over and asked if we were needing anything. We had asked if he could help us look for the best wipers for the best price. My boyfriend had mentioned that we asked the lady for help but she did not seem very interested in helping. The man immediately laughed a little and said “Let’s just address the elephant in the room… you two smell horribly like marijuana. That is probably why.” I immediately was taken aback because I had nothing on me in the store and did not think at all that I smelled that horribly of weed. But even then, my boyfriend and I have our MEDICAL marijuana cards for seizures, chronic pain, brain injury, mental health, etc. When I mentioned that yes I do have a MEDICAL CARD in a LEGAL STATE but nothing on me in the store , the man said that it did not matter and continued to tell us that they did not want to help because we smelled like pot. I got very defensive because this is supposed to be our medication, so the man kicked us out and asked us to leave. We immediately left the store and sat out in the parking lot for a second to register why that even just happened. After seeing us still in the parking lot the man came out and took a picture of the back of our car. We ended up leaving and going to the Bumper to Bumper auto parts place on 76th and not only are their prices SO MUCH better and cheaper for better quality, the workers actually came out and ASKED to put the wipers on FOR US because it was storming. Bumper to Bumper is the place to go, bless them. I’ve heard of Advanced Auto Parts being trash for a while but now I really won’t be wasting my time with their horrible staff and customer service skills again. Medical marijuana keeps my boyfriend from having seizures and this has helped him for many years because due to his brain injury. Not that I should have to explain that to an auto parts worker though. People should not be disrespected for using their medication legally. The staff here really needs to light a joint or something and humble themselves.

I picked up a used car and the battery terminals were loose. I stopped at this location to purchase a wrench to tighten them. Instead, I decided to purchase a small tool kit to keep in the truck. The person who rang me up seemed bothered and was less than friendly. But, I bought the $40 tool kit, said thank you, and stepped outside to tighten the clamps. Suddenly, I urgently needed to use the restroom. So, I stepped back inside and asked. The other individual curtly said "Nope. We don't have public restrooms." I wasn't someone walking down the street who popped in just to use the restroom. I was a paying customer. I just spent $40 and I can't use the restroom? There are plenty of other auto parts stores in Owasso. I recommend you go to one of them. Maybe they'll have more appreciation for their customers.

I called to get info on coolant worried about the blue color (I thought it was filled with washer fluid)requesting info and Grayson recommended to contact the last technician who serviced it . Then preceded to investigate himself and went out of his way to call me back with detailed information of why my Asian coolant could have been this color from my dealer. Awesome service I appreciate this so much. Thanks Grayson.

I purchased 4 spark plugs, when I got home i discovered they were the wrong size. The next morning I went back to exchange the plugs. I walked in, told the Mgr I was given the wrong plugs. He seemed to take that personal and asked me for my recept. I did not have one, he immediately said I cant refund on electronics without one. This is a lie, he later admitted that they make exceptions. I also called the store in Claremore and they said they would exchange them no . problem. I asked the Mgr if he was serious, he said yes. I did give him a pice of my mind. I have it on video, i did not cuss I did not get loud. He just ignored me, he also told other workers not to help me. I asked two employees, One obviously wanted to but the Mgr told him not to. The other was an older man wearing overalls and he was fine not helping me. I told them I was not leaving and sat on the online counter. I did talk to other customers, told them what they were doing to me. I had hay to move, its hot and I cant run because my old equipment fouls the plug. I cant work without the plug. I made multiple attempts to just exchange the plugs. The Mgr mentioned the Policy. I went to a sign in the store and read the policy on returns with no reciept. It said I could get a gift Card to use in the store. I asked the Mgr If i could get the refund on a card like the policy said. He responded NO. He finally called the police and they forced me to leave. I noticed there are several complaints at this store about the Mgr at this store. I'm not surprised, I have the rewards app, they can check my account and see when I purchased the plugs, they can see that I'm spending money in there regularly. I have been a customer for years but this Mgr blew all that over his feelings and a Spark Plug. I have contacted corporate, they have already offered me a $30 gift card that I declined. The Regional Mgr is supposed to call me tomorrow. The amount of time and money this guy wasted, mine, his, and the corporate people but he really taught me. He wasted to cops time, 3 cops arrived to ask a 54 year old customer to leave. I know Its hard to find quality Mgr's these days but this Mgr is very inefficient.I added this via edit, 4 days later I have contacted customer service 3 times and I can't even get a call back. The regional mgr was supposed to call me with in 24 hours. It has been about 60 hours and nothing. I called and they said they would send this to the VP, he gets things done. Still nothing. I just want the correct spark plugs. Do not shop here or but their stock. I cant believe they wont just exchange the plugs.
