The clerk couldn't work the register. My ID wouldn't scan and he said it was state law that he had to scan it to sell beer, and it couldn't be typed in. That is a lie. Oklahoma actually just changed the law- it called Odell's law named after a 90 year old who was refused beer because he forgot his ID. There's never been a law saying it must be scanned.
I'm 61 and showed my ID, and they said they can't accept it because their scanner can't read it.
Shame on management for lying about the law and not training their employees.
