I can’t even begin to describe what a Godsend this place has been. Hannah, Amy and the rest of the wonderful staff are truly angels. They are so caring, empathetic, helpful, and they will fight for you and help you with anything you need. They go above and beyond. I have not met an organization like this before, and my heart is forever grateful. God bless you guys and thank you so much for everything. I now have a five-year VPO against my ex-husband ( who was abusive towards me )and today at court the judge added our daughter to the vpo as well. We are safe and I’ve got my baby! This has been quite a horrific journey for me and it’s starting to come to an end, and it’s better than I could ever of imagined.Just know if you use this place for any reason, you are safe, you are loved, and you are heard. Xo

I cannot begin to explain the disappointment I faced coming here, at first the staff were very nice, very welcoming, the first week I got there I didn’t get to meet with an advocate because she didn’t reach out to me, that was her job to reach out to me but I had to go to her, after speaking with her for a bit I was sent off in my way, I stayed for 10 days before I was exited for a “confidentiality Breech” I was very confused because they wouldn’t tell me what the breach was, one of the other lady’s at the shelter couldn’t get ahold of me (my roommate) and she called the desk ti ask for a welfare check to see if I was okay, where the lady said “I’m not going to check because it’s not your business if she’s okay or not, the next day I’m called into my advocate Kayla’s office where she told me I’m being exposed I had a day to pack my stuff, but would not explain what I did to be kicked out, durning that meeting they went through everything in my room and the staff stole my pain medication and some very expensive jewelry, my roommate wasn’t there I know for a a fact she didn’t, once I went down with my bags I asked if they could help me find somewhere ti go and they told me it’s not there problem where I go, horrible staff -all of them

I stayed there for a while. The team there were very supportive and kind. It was a very safe place to stay with food, clothing and a good support groups with other connections to help women of all backgrounds. If if wasn't for this shelter I wouldn't be where I am today.

Very helpful very friendly and very clean and safe facility with many diff programs and classes and opportunities. Thank u to the advocate with the traditional tattoos and long black hair ( sorry forgot it name) but very grateful she went above and beyond to make sure I arrived safely and without walking!

I am blown away by how much the YWCA OKC has helped turn my life and my child's life around. Miracles happen! Thank you YWCA for all that you are and all that you stand for. I'm forever grateful!!! ❤P.S. The Staff is the best, most friendly, caring, and understanding. And our stay was comfortable, helping us heal in many ways. Food was delicious ?

Honestly...I used to stay here. It's the safest place in Oklahoma City, like it or not.

Drove an acquaintance to pick up belongings. The staff made her wait one hour and still didn't give her mail. Very rude and judgemental.

Great service and quick response to getting in the facility and safe. I am still working on the courage but I'm still so impressed with this program. Thanks

If you or someone you know is in need of a safe, secure, and supportive place when getting out of an abusive situation this is the place to contact. They are an incredible group.

This place is wonderful and the people are so caring. I am grateful to be here after having to leave my state for safety and move here. Everyday is a struggle but my case advocate Marisol and the entire staff are always here to help with invaluable resources and just a kind listening ear when needed.
