Very beautiful! This was my first time going to this park. I am a dog trainer working with reactivity issues in alot of dogs and this park is great at providing areas to give space and make room when need be.You will see Grizz and I here with my clients more often!!Dog-friendliness: Great place to take your dog for a sniff workout!

The grounds are pretty with several garden areas, a couple of ponds and some walking paths. The conservatory is useless. It's mostly just open space for them to host events, and just one tiny area with a few cacti. It's hard to find the main entrance building. When we pulled into the lot we saw what looked like a main entrance. It apparently leads to the arboretum, and you can eventually make your way to the gardens. But the actual main building is rather hidden behind hedges. We went in to ask about how to get to the conservatory. There was a young man who didn't have the correct answers to anything, but the lady behind the desk was more knowledgeable. Another odd thing is they don't have maps of the property. There's just a big Google Earth map posted on the wall.See more photos at https://adobe.ly/3UBk2ST

It was quiet and peaceful. I go here every once in a while to walk and enjoy nature. I love spending this time with myself. The place is well kept, clean, and beautiful.

It’s very beautiful, but I highly advise against holding a wedding here. I was a part of a wedding there this weekend and the staff made the entire experience stressful for the couple. They were told that bubbles were fine but then they weren’t because that was “littering.” They were told ahead of time and the night before when we were setting up that having glasses was fine. Then the next morning another staff member told them that having glass was not ok and they would not get their deposit back.We had to have people outside the greenhouse to keep park visitors out because they did not post signs that there was a private event, and the greenhouse is closed to the public on weekends for events anyway. People were strolling right in to stand among the wedding decor. They had their ceremony in front of the fountain, which was the plan from the beginning and was also double checked that it was still ok the night before. While the couple was signing their marriage license, they were approached and told that they weren’t supposed to have the ceremony there because another ceremony was booked at that fountain and it had to be reserved. The only options to reserve were buildings, and reserving the fountain had not been brought up when it had been discussed previously or the night before. Then, as cleaning up was happening afterwards, staff were coming in seemingly irritated that we were not gone. We had until 11 pm to be cleaned up and out, and it was still well before that time. Not to mention there was also a baby shower, another wedding, and a couple of other events all taking place at the same time.So if you plan to have your wedding here, expect to have your plans approved and then be told the day of that half of what you are doing isn’t allowed, even if you’re told it is fine as you are setting up. This caused a lot of unneeded stress to the couple and made it difficult for them to enjoy what is supposed to be one of their happiest days.

Would not recommend the conservatory for your wedding. There was no promised follow up leading up the wedding or in the hours before. I had to go find someone or call about any question. We spent $500 to rent air conditioners to learn the conservatory couldn’t close the windows. Miraculously they were closed soon as we walked out.

Pleasant smaller garden. People were walking on short trails with their dogs. Weddings hosted here as well. It was neat to see some placards on trees in the arboretum so you could learn more about them. Only drawback was the freeway noise and bit of exhaust smell.
