I wanted to give Alexus Russell (Loan Specialist) and Alyx Garrett (Counselor) at the Reno Branch a huge thank you! I applied for an auto loan with Alexus and was approved. I had numerous questions that she answered very patiently. She was very knowledgeable, professional and clear spoken, as well as being very pleasant to speak with. I found a vehicle but seemed to run into numerous snags with the private seller. I spoke with Mrs. Russell on numerous occasions, and she was always pleasant and willing to explain things. She kept me updated on the progress throughout. She stuck with me to the very end. Mrs. Garrett was also very knowledgeable and helpful during this whole transaction. She also explained things very well and kept me posted on the progress and necessary items needed. Both of these young ladies checked with several resources to protect both me and Weokie from fraud (not going into all of that). I hope you (Weokie) value these Associates. They epitomize the motto Run by Members for Members. Thank you!

Clarabeth Moreno was incredible in straightening out long-standing issues with our accounts. She worked tirelessly using many resources including her supervisor, those in legal and those in records. It is a great relief to have full access to our accounts.

Been with weokie for several years and I will say they are no different the *********** ***** Fargo or any of the leanders that you are trying to get away from as my mortgage holder they have done less to try and be my hometown lender they are horrible to work with and dont ever try to change you insurance company that took almost a year of me doing everything short of stapling copies of my new insurance to the loan officer dont move to this company for any reason

The new extra endorsement that will become a requirement to deposit a check is ridiculous. Figure out how to update your system instead of inconveniencing your members. The convenience is why I chose this bank. May be looking for another one.

My family has been members of Weokie Credit Union for at least the past 35 years and we have had good experiences. Over the past 2 years I’ve been using the Weokie app and repeatedly have issues and they do not get fixed. I try to transfer money out of Weokie to Bank of America and the app at times doesn’t allow me to do it, it gives me an error saying I do not have enough money to make the transfer and I clearly do. I had to go to the branch and get the money from a teller and take it to Bank of America. This happens over and over and nobody fixes the problem with the app. I went into Weokie this morning and spoke to the branch manager on the phone while I was there and I saw her in her office and asked if I could simply come in and talk to her, she said I could not because she has a meeting, I told her I had an appointment too at 9:30am but I had to come in because the app would not work. I totally got the impression that what she had to do was important and my time meant nothing to her. She kept interrupting me and saying I am trying to help you but did nothing to help me, she wanted to put me off onto other employees. I wanted her to help me so she could understand what was going on. She said she would call me after her meetings later today. Weokie management needs to put customers first and not make it so difficult to get in touch with a branch manager on the incredibly annoying phone tree that Weokie has for customers to use. It is not the same Weokie it used to be, I’m not happy and I’m confident nobody cares, the branch manager definitely needs to learn how to deal with customers better and figure out what’s going on before acting like I have no reason to be upset. Her actions of seeing me in the building when she called me should have been her coming to get me and giving me a seat and letting me tell her what was going on. Instead it was like NO DO NOT COME IN HERE I HAVE A MEETING! Customers are Weokie’s business and we should come firs! If I need access to my money online I should have it! Weokie denied me access to my money! DUE TO WEOKIES ERRORS! GET YOUR ISSUES FIXED! Or don’t allow access online.

I applied for a HELOC for my home and the process was seamless and smooth. My processor Chris M. was very pleasant and talked me through the application process. He updated me constantly if they needed more information. The closing Karen took less than 20 minutes and we were out the door. I have had at least 4 other loans with Weokie and all have gone smoothly. I highly recommend this Credit Union.

I tried cashing a check and I was told that they con only cash a check in the lobby. As I tried to ask a question they just disconnected not looking forward to open an account with them

Tassidae is a wonderful asset to Weokie & so helpful with setting up our accounts. I was a member of Scrivner CU back in the mid 80's, which preceded Weokie CU, so I have been around long enough to see the growth that this wonderful institution has become.

Watch out! Your FREE checking will change, you’ll automatically be enrolled in the BAZING account and charged $6.95 a month unless you happen to catch it and call them. What a SCAM! I called and got a refund but what about everyone else? How much money have you stolen from them and do they know?

We have been looking for a local bank/credit union for a while now. I saw an add for Weokie and decided to check them out. This was by far the simplest signup for a bank account I have ever done. Sherrie at the Penn branch was very helpful and knowledgeable, and within a few minutes was able to get us going with our new account.
