I loved the initial help I received when I went to this Home Depot. Very kind gentleman, very knowledgeable, informative, and thanked me for being a great customer… Then I headed towards the self check outs. As I walked up two ladies turned their backs towards me after whispering, then I proceeded to keep my distance and say, “Excuse me.” While looking directly at the lady with her back turned as the other left. I tried to get help a second time, “excuse me mam”, “hello?!” , “excuse me mam, I have a question!”.The lady then with her back turned walked to the computer and pretended to type something and pushed two buttons, then I asked a couple more times and walked closer ( this is after raising my voice to a yell to make sure she heard me ). I ended up having to get close, wave my hands and said, Excuse me mam, I have a question!!” Hopefully letting her know I only needed a simple question answered since she didn’t want to do anything. She slowly and lazily walked towards me, looking the other direction. I asked her, “can I check out on the other side since I am parked over here??” She mumbled, “Sure whatever… I don’t care?”. I had to ask for her attention at least 6 times before she even responded or faced my direction.I felt very mixed. One interaction was fantastic ( maybe the manager, the other was horrible…. Mind you there was almost no one at the store at 9a on the Monday I was there.
