It's 8pm n I have worst customer service. Lady keep telling me my card is declines. I call the bank n they say they approve the charge. I even put them on speaker. Feel like discrimination. I also heard her say deposit is $300 to the lady infront. When it's my turn, she say $500 for deposit.

The worst post-rental customer "service" ever! I was issued a refund at the airport, handed and emailed a receipt, and have spent now over 2 months trying to actually get the refund issued to me. The hoops of paperwork and idiotic computer-generated emails from Thrify/Hetz is disgusting! Not to mention you can't get anyone on the phone, and if you do, they don't know or care about the company!!

If we could give a 0 we would. Booked vehicle months in advance. Arrived at 8:30 at night to be told they don’t have any cars and they might get some in 3 hours. They couldn’t do anything and told us to call customer service. Waited on hold for 20 minutes to be told people extended their rentals. This is a first and last with Thrifty DO NOT USE THEM!

After reserving a car more than 2 months ago, had no clue until I got to the counter at 6 am on Sunday that my "unlimited miles" driving was limited to Oklahoma and 4 or 5 neighboring states. Either that or I would be forced to pay per mile, which I was informed would cost considerably more. Not only that, the lady working there was blunt and made it pretty obvious she couldn't care less. Nice racket, but you're not getting my money now. Or ever.

Rented a car online got there NO CAR!!!!! They didn't even apologize they sad were not connected. "I have no cars on my lot what do you want me to do".

DO NOT COME HERE.I've used Thrifty my entire life...I flew to Oklahoma City for a work project, I booked my car way in advance. I arrived at the rental facility, presented my credit card, drivers license and confirmation code. The lady told me that my drivers license was "no good" because she couldn't scan it. I said that's not possible as I use this drivers license around the world to rent cars, and I've used it with Thrifty before. She said, "Not interested Honey, go to a different company, maybe they can help you". I was SHOCKED. I asked again and she waved me off and started helping the next person.I went to Avis, unfortunately I had to pay much more than I would have at Thrifty because it was a same day rental. But Avis even gave me a free upgrade to a truck. Fantastic service at Avis, Ben was great. Dont use Thrifty in OKC

The vehicle was just what we needed for our trip. The problem that we have encountered is that we were quoted an estimated rate of $325. When I checked on my credit card balance, there were two charges. One was $180 from Thrifty, the other $541 from Hertz. I have yet to receive the receipt via email that I requested upon returning the vehicle. If this is how Thrifty does business, I won't use them again.

I don't know the name of the person working the counter Christmas morning but she was the most awful, uppity old witch I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. Canceled my reservation rather than deal with her. If I could give zero stars, I would.

They quoted and charged me $334.36. Then after everything was said and done they charged my card another $226 for fees and other made up charges that we did not discuss. They live up to there name and find thrifty way to charge you. Over $500 to use there car to go under 150 miles.

Thrifty Car Rental is a scam! Terrible service. We prepaid for a car rental. When we arrived in Detroit from OKC, the counter was not in the terminal as stated when we prepaid. We had to take the shuttle to a building to stand in a long line to be told that they would not honor my rental. I had my debit card instead of my husbands and he had made the reservation. I called customer service to be told they would cancel my reservation and create a new rental but it would be over $200 more and the canceled would take ten days to be refunded and they would place a $500 deposit on my card and I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT 24 hours for them to allow me to LEAVE THE LOT?????? The lady at the counter ended up disregarding the 24 hour policy i was told on the phone. We got a car, but left with a new rental amount of a $200 increase , the old rental amount and a $500 deposit taken out of my account. When my husband called to complain, he was told they would refund our original and after the car was turned in they would try to discount the increased rental. We rented on the 6th. Despite phone calls we still have not been refunded the original amount and they denied any help on the new rental that was $587!!! So much for a prepaid car ! They are crooks! This is Sept 27! I want my refund!

We had a great experience with this location. We reserved online a few weeks before our trip. We were greeted and checked in warmly. We reserved a compact car but was told that they did not have one available so they upgraded our car for free. When they found out we were driving to Lawton, she offered some advice and suggestions. Great customer service. Returning of the car was smooth as well. We highly recommend them.

I saw another post about this but it needs to change... was told I needed DL and a major credit card. Showed up with my chime credit and over $600 in the account which was more than twice the amount required.The receptionist was polite but could not provide me with an answer that made any sense at all as to why my card was being rejected... missed a family reunion and possibly the last chance to see some of my family.I feel lied to as I called the place before booking and was misinformed.. really believe there is a way to work with chime and it just comes across like Thrifty doesn't care..

Worst car rental place I've been to. They try and push you to upgrade, there are a bunch of hidden fees and to top it off, the clerk at the counter when I was picking up the car was incredibly rude!
