My hair looked the exact same walking out as I did walking in. I booked a Shampoo and Diffuse service and never received the diffuse. Instead, the stylist Lisa actually said that she number one didn’t even know I was supposed to be there and number two didn’t know what a diffuser was or did.I was then sat in for a shampoo and condition that wasn’t bad. Once in the styling chair, it went terrible. She consistently kept asking how I use the diffuser at home which I consistently kept telling her I have not used it at home, I only know what the style looks like. She asked me what it was supposed to look like which I pointed to the wall behind her that looked almost exactly like the style.For the next 30 minutes to an 45 minutes my hair was pulled at while adding moisturizer to it and that was it. She essentially pulled my hair out with her fingers into an Afro style all while making stereotype jokes and comments such as, “You look like you’re about to get on the Soul Train.”, (speaking about another client in a blaccent) “Can’t no white lady do that.”, and disrespecting my Alma mater stating that it was the new “bad” school.I was then told that I would get a discount as the style hadn’t been done properly to quickly having that retracted as the price wasn’t that high.I then went home to give myself an actual style as I paid to have done here. If you have textured hair of any kind, I would advise to steer clear.

My Hairstylist for many years quit during Covid and I had been searching for someone to color and cut my hair. Having bad experiences in the past with coloring and cutting short hair I was very hesitant. When I arrived I showed Tuyet Kieu pictures of what I was looking for, a short undercut pixie and a soft lavender, purple, color. Not having colored and cut for a while my hair was dark with grey and long for me. Tuyet explained that it would take a double treatment to get it back white to lighten up enough. I agreed knowing ahead of time is what it would take. She cut the length off into a rough pixie then began the coloring. After coloring and conditioning she blew dry and cut into the short style I requested, Pixie on the top and shaved on the side and back. The color came out Great! After coloring my hair for many of my 58 years I have never been told about using "Purple Shampoo and Conditioner" to prevent the yellowing of my lightened hair. She explained every step as she began throughout the process. Being experienced in having coloring my hair I knew it was going to take along time. Due to the time needed to color I have paid hundreds of dollars to get the look I have wanted. I was very surprised and pleased to pay $135 buy the purple shampoo and conditioner along with a tip for less than $200. I was very pleased with the job that Tuyet did that I will return to her monthly for trims and touch-ups. I HAVE FOUND MY NEW HAIR STYLIST! YEA!!!Services: Haircut

The hairdresser that did my daughter's hair that day was taking the place of Shannon whom we really like. This lady's name prounced "Q",is very skilled and took the time to be very accurate and thorough. I will go back to her.

Where do I begin?I booked an appointment for my daughter to have her hair colored for the first time. Picture day is on Wednesday. She has naturally beautiful, sun-kissed hair and just wanted a little bit of lightening towards the bottom of her hair, but wanted a natural, balayage type look. She LOVES her hair and how beautiful it is, so she was hesitant to even get it colored. We were quoted $90 and told it would take approximately two hours to complete. The final result was absolutely awful and beyond traumatic for my daughter. After walking around the mall for two hours, I went back to the salon to check on my daughter and the stylist Tuyiet Kieu was still applying foils to her hair, and my heart immediately dropped because I was concerned. She told me to come back in 45 minutes. In 45 minutes we came back, and my daughter was back at the sink being “toned”. The stylist again told me to come back in another 45 minutes. Yet again, I came back and my daughter was STILL sitting at the same sink. I was beyond frustrated at this point because I could clearly tell my daughters hair was completely over processed and the quality was so poor. After FIVE hours and a $165 charge later, we were finished. 1) Her hair is not like anything my daughter wanted. 2) Blotchy and overly processed 3) Toned Unevenly. This was the single most traumatizing experience I have ever had, and it was sadly my daughters first experience. I’ve had to jump through hoops to get her in to see someone else before her picture day on Monday. I understand that things could be underestimated a little at consultation, but this was excessive and the stylist had the worst communication and transparency. I’m honestly mortified for my poor daughter. After five hours, I didn’t have the heart to put her through any more agony while I tried to reason with the stylist. I will be calling the salon to seek a refund because this is completely unacceptable.Service: Hair colouring
