Thank you for your commitment to the Oklahoma City eastside community. We had a chance to stop by and talk to Brandi and Ashley and were very impressed how the Market at Eastpoint has taken ownership of the food desert issue and is having a direct positive impact on the community. The fact that you carry local, Black-owned, and small business products is a plus. The prepackaged fresh meal kits is also a first and a great way for people to pick up a meal on-the-go and prepare it at home! Hopefully your model can expand and be a way to fight back at dollar stores, and convenience stores that nickel and dime communities with snacks and overpriced items. I would encourage visitors and locals to stop by here and not the large chain stores - to show support for a well run local/community business.

To center yourself in a Black community that was in need....but then present products with exorbitant prices because they were grown down the street is actually crazy. I finally visited about a week ago and I'm so disappointed. I grow my own produce as well so I don't see why that fact makes everything cost more.

Employee don’t listen when handling money at register will put you in a bind they can’t undo, due to their own attitudes or ignoring I guess. The Togo bar readily prepared food IS ALWAYS EMPTYYYYY COMPLETELY THEY MAY HAVE A SINGLE ITEM ! And they are heavy on the pork options extremely tiny store not very much variety or options they could have done better with this store

So I went out to the truck stand and there were these two guys talking and they had the one cashier and they made me wait in line for 5 minutes before I decided I'd give up and just go somewhere else we're just buying one bottle of Coca-Cola. And the woman who is the cashier I found out is the store manager. And when I did ask for the manager's name she said no you cannot talk to the manager. So that answered a lot of questions how this stores actually run. My next steps are you want to call and non-profit group that this stores actually owned by and then going form the local news stations here about this Market.
