I can always find something here! It’s my go-to boutique for trendy clothes I can wear to work or when I’m shopping for something a little more formal. Their size range is truly accommodating to all! The gift section is ??— puzzles, coasters, funny dish towels. And to top it all off, the ladies who work here are phenomenal. I love that they support educators and offer a discount to teachers!

Had the cutest products in addition to the most friendly and amazing staff. I mentioned to friends while in the store that I didn’t have anything to package the gift I was purchasing for shipping. The AMAZING cashier immediately jumped to give me a shipping package, wrap and decorate the gift. Seriously so in awe and grateful for her kindness in going above and beyond!! Made my day

I had an Amazing experience in your store today. I came in looking for sunglasses and bought two super cute pair(but not a pair?lol). My favorite part of your store was the welcoming and friendly helpful salesperson. Super engaging, intelligent and natural. Love the vibe. I will definitely be back.

I came in today for an appointment to get a permanent bracelet that only does pop-up shops. I don’t get into downtown much. I was impressed with how cute the store was. They had a variety of cool items and I was glad I got to see this place that I wouldn’t have otherwise gone into.

This is a happy store to go to BUT also has a GREAT online presence. I have shopped online many times and the service is quick and the options are many! If you can't always make it in the store but see something you like on their website, online is a terrific option!

To summarize the novel below, I had an amazing experience at this shop!I went in looking for something to wear to an event later that night. The women in the shop helped me figure out what was appropriate for the event, made some suggestions, then let me shop. I tried on a few dresses and loved one but a clasp sat in an odd spot for my body. One of the women in the shop pinned the dress at a better spot (plus added some clasps!) and did the alteration within an hour. She helped pair a belt with the dress and made suggestions for what to pair with it. To top it all off, I picked up some cute, unique Christmas gifts while I was there. I walked in stressed and walked out with some extra pep in my step! Thank you so much to the women of Black Scintilla!

I love this store a lot. I know when I am looking for something cute or nice, I can come here. Most days I live in sweats and look like a hoodrat. So it's nice going somewhere familiar to me to shop. The owner is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She will help you however she can.

I absolutely love shopping here. There is always something new to see. It also helps that I’m all about supporting local and women! Shelby is absolutely brilliant, fabulous, and wonderful. It’s always nice to shop somewhere they make you feel special, heard and seen. Love love love and would give 10 Stars if I could!

I love this store and have always found great pieces here. Recently, I needed a dress for an event and found one I loved but it needed some alterations. They offer free alterations and Rachael worked with me to make sure it fit perfectly and I felt comfortable and good in the dress. Definitely check them out!
