These were my first apartments, and although I was only there for a 6-month lease, I would say I enjoyed my experience. The area was pleasant, and maintenance was always on top of things. The apartment unit itself was decent.
My only complaints were that I could hear my neighbors screaming at each other through the wall, and the downstairs neighbors were a bit sketchy, with a police car knocking on their door at one point. The AC in the gym was broken during some of the hottest days in the summer, which was inconvenient. I never used the pool because it was very small and overcrowded. At one point, it was closed due to people smoking and broken glass.
One night, the power shut down for the entire apartment complex. I don’t remember why, but it wasn’t due to weather.
Overall, for the price point, it was a decent place to live.

Blake from maintaince is so prompt, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I'm glad to see that and hope you hire more like him. Summit Point is a great place to live and it's amazing to have good maintenance that is timely and efficient.

Our experience with the staff at Summit Point Apartments has been one of a kind. They are professional, and very good at communicating. Heather helped us move in quickly and smoothly, and made us feel heard and prioritized. They were accommodating to our needs.
We been living here for a month and we have zero complains. Our maintenance request was taken care of from one day to another. The community is well kept, and quiet.

4/??/2023We (couple, two dogs) have been here a month now, and so far and the office staff and maintaining staff has been amazing. Chris, Cheyenne, Anna and everyone have all been extremely responsive, kind and professional. So far we are really enjoying living in this community.9/14/2023 update.We are still enjoying living in this community over all. It is one of the cheaper communities in the area, and the office staff is still responsive and kind. The complex is quiet over all and the neighbors are relatively friendly in passing.However here are a few of my chief complaints. Cost of rent (around $1100 total.) compared to amenities offered. (Pool wasn’t maintained well over the summer, was filled twice & then closed towards the end of August due to someone getting sick in it. And it is still sitting swampy at this time due to rain.) The “gym” is a nice touch, but it is small had has very little equipment.No patio or balcony areas for upstairs residents. Cleanliness of the complex.Residents are… human. And they act that way. Cigarette butts, trash and dog feces litter the complex.The dog park is not well maintained and is also littered with feces.Parking is awful in the evenings when everyone gets home from work.Recently I’ve been finding one-two roaches at a time.The office staff did send out pest control as quickly as possible, but where there is one there is usually more.The complex is a “no smoking” complex, but obviously people still smoke.Drainage in the complex is awful and it gets swampy quickly when raining.My windows leak when it rains too heavily.I did report this multiple times when we first moved in and Chris did try to fix it.During this past summer my upstairs unit was regularly above 80f, they did send out the ac technician after putting in a maintenance report, he said he was the tech for all of weidners properties in the metro and that the acs just weren’t built to keep up with that kind of heat. It’s true and I understand, but almost every ac unit in this complex is old/dirty and the fins are damaged. We had to get a window ac unit just to “survive.”I had to have my vents cleaned due to mold about a month ago.None of the office staff live on site and the complex is un patrolled. (Update to the complex being unpatrolled, after posting this update I did see a security patrol this same day on 9/14/2023 around 6/7pm.)These are the complaints I have off the top of my head.And as you can see maintenance is still responsive to issues and does their best to remedy them quickly.Over all it is not the worst apartment I have ever rented.10/17/2023I have had to have my unit bombed for pests.I have not seen any other security patrols since the one on 9/14.1/24/2024My rent was raised 7% upon my lease renewal for no upgrades to the unit or property. Yay capitalism.I have not seen any pests since having my unit bombed thankfully. (Knock on wood.)My window was still leaking from when I first moved in until a couple of weeks ago. The complex still has no security, and is still absolutely littered with trash and dog feces. Office staff, maintenance and leasing consultants are still very kind and helpful folks over all.

We have lived here for a little over a month now. Mikayla made the process transferring from a sister property smooth and easy. She is quick to answer any questions or concerns I have. There was a bug problem at initial move in but as soon as I let Mikayla know she had pest control come and the problem was gone after a week. She still messages ever so often just to check in! @management Mikayla needs a raise!!As far as the property, it is quiet and there’s not a lot going on. I have noticed some people like to let their dogs out off leash so that’s something to keep in mind. Maintenance is pretty quick so that’s a plus . Overall 10/10 recommend

We have lived here for 4 years and we absolutely love it! Mikayla in the office is the sweetest person ever and they have been nothing but great to my family! i would recommend living here to anyone!

Update Sep 2 2023My family and I opted out of our lease early, our ac unit didn’t work all summer long. It was disgustingly hot. I was in unit 1216 if you have any more issues trying to consider who I am, this google name isn’t my government name. They had a new maintenance guy, it was his second week working there and supposedly his last day. He decided to take my ac units (free standing window units) out of my apartment and put them in his car. Why would an employee go inside someone’s apartment and just decide to take things? High dollar ac units. On a week where it was 110 heat index?I sent my husband over to confront and retrieve our stolen items. There was some verbal confrontation and the office decided they didn’t want to take responsibility so they served us a cease and desist order. Instructing us that we couldn’t talk to the staff anymore or there would be legal action.This place is terrible. Don’t live here please. The staff doesn’t care about anything except saving face and taking your money. They even tried to charge us an extra months rent (1500 dollars btw) while we were moving out and the unit was vacant and 90 degrees. Inhuman and unlivable. I sent the property manager a cute little email; and then the 1500 charge magically disappeared.Always lock your doors. Get a ring camera. There are homeless people breaking into cars, houses, digging through the dumpster. If you respect yourself and your money; DO NOT MOVE HERE. Worst staff on the face of the earth. Worst complex on the face of the earth. As of July 2023 the new law states you can withhold your rent; if your ac isn’t running or cooling your rental properly. I suggest anyone who has been suffering like us; do so.
