Do not waste your hard earned money on this extremely overrated apartment. First of all they attack u with unreasonable fees. They have a redecorating fee of 75.00 that is nonrefundable and also u have to pay a deposit of 100.00 to hold the place as well as your regular deposit. The management is trying to steal extra money by implementing all of these unnecessary fees. If you have your usual deposit why do u have to pay a nonrefundable 75 fee for redecorating. And they claim the difference in rent from 889 to 1089 is because of the view of the creek which is no more then a poorly visible drainage area that attracts tons of mosquitoes. And please be advised the place has roaches

I lived here for almost 2 years and the one thing that was a reoccurring issue was mold/water damage. The first time it happened my kitchen light fell out of the ceiling and was filled with water, just hanging there. The next 3 times we’re in the same spot on my bathroom ceiling. The mold on the ceiling was cut out and replaced by that little square which also accumulated mold in the same spot. I found mold in my kitchen cabinets as well. There was a hole in the wall inside my cabinet so I figured that had something to do with it. Maintenance would fix it but it would always come back. The location is great and the staff is very nice, I just wish they could’ve fixed whatever it was that was causing all of this.

A waste of time and money. The whole place is just useless. As you can see the pictures, they left that open for months and when I told them about it, they did nothing to help. They love to keep messing with the water, like it is a water park that needs a fine tune-up. Also, dont expect nothing from them when you have a noise complaint, they will do absolutely nothing to help. If I could give them zero stars, I would have done it already.

The location alone made this place wonderful. It was an easy walk to enjoy Bluff Creek and the back trails. We probably had the best neighbors as well. Maintenance always addressed our requests in a a timely fashion. The only con I would have is packages delivered right to the office instead of the unit. There’d be days when I wouldn’t know I had a package (and I ordered a lot) until I popped in to see if there was anything that delivered. One of the best pet friendly places I’ve rented. We considered it home until moving out

I have only been here for a month! The surrounding area is beyond beautiful with roaming deer and a forest right in your back yard. However, these units are in a state of disrepair. Issues include water hammering, bad foundation causing large cracks on walls/ceiling, unresolved long term water damage in ceilings/walls, warped ceilings, paint on carpet from patchwork repair, poorly installed carpet over lose and rotting boards, and popcorn ceiling to hide all the damage. My advice, see the apartment YOU will be living in. Not the show room they sell you on during the tour. Check every inch before you sign anything. Lesson learned, this has been educational. Winter is coming and we are excited to see what thermal expansion does to these ever increasing cracks.

My sister and I recently moved in and have had a great experience so far. I came from a complex that we many issues that weren't handled properly and we complained from very noisy neighbors and AC issues every summer and had to just deal for 4 years. Summerfield Place has been a breath of fresh air so far! It is so quient and beautiful here. The office staff has been great and maintenance fixed the couple little issues we had very quick. I look forward to updating my review in a year!Edit: A year later and I still enjoy living here!!

Kept our deposit and claimed we owed them money after leaving apartment in better shape than we got it. This place has spiders everywhere cabinets falling off the walls and management doesn't care about their own property. They are only interested in squeezing every cent they can out of their tenants, even the good tenants that take care of their place.

Kendall was excellent and made this move-in top-tier. The thoroughness and clarity of her knowledge helped me make a the decision to move here easy and fast. Excellent communication and by far the fastest response of any complex in their office staff. This review is only for move in, and I'll update this if needed but this seems to be a great fit for me and am excited to be here!

Clean apartment, excellent staff, and timely repairs. Only con is that water gets shut off often for a couple hours in parts of the complex as they do repairs, but it never affected me. Fantastic price, location, and apartment. Moved here from Raindance Apartments and it's so much better. Safe, clean, professional. Highly recommend.
