They hover way too much, asked several questions wouldn’t let me look and wouldn’t let me get a word in, wouldn’t stop asking me if I wanted my stuff carried by them, I don’t know if they thought I was stealing because I’m younger and just freshly got my licensed but they wouldn’t let me carry my products I was going to buy. They also questioned wether or not I had my license while I was looking at stuff assuming because I’m young. Won’t be returning, if you’re in school or freshly got licensed I would go to another location :)

Iley was extremely helpful! She went above and beyond to help me then continued to make sure I was fully taken care of with the things I had purchased! I really appreciate her!

The worst Customer service that I have come across. State Beauty Supply is ALWAYS SO AMAZING, which why it makes me sad how my experience was. On my visit the ladies that "helped me" that I hope were both just having a very off day, or Maybe even I caught them at the wrong time...or it was time for them to close in 20mins. I have been to MANY State Beauty Supplies, Armstrong McCaul's, SSG, Sally's... Heck you name it, even at an Ulta or Sephora. I was not spoken to unless I went to the counter, & both of the employee's weren't helpful at all... And where just so rude! Like I said, I really just hope I caught the Ladies on a really bad day and maybe they were trying to close their store earlier than usual that day. Yall are better than that, I know... I've experienced it personally with how amazing yall usually are.

Bethany at State Beauty is awesome! She remembered a product I asked for a week before seen it at another State store and brought it to the May location for me. I'm retired so it's not like I'm in there every day! Made me feel very special.

Staff not polite and I can go down the street to a competitor where prices are 50% to 70% less for the same product. State Beauty Supply does not carry some of the most essential items! Will not return.

During the pandemic, when most retailers are scrambling to figure out the best process to safely serve their customer base, State Beauty Supply is already on top of things! They cheerfully took my daughter’s order and credit card information on the phone, we told them the exact time we would arrive to pick up the products, and they came out to the parking lot to put our sack into the back of our trunk, staying at least 12 feet away from us! For those of us who are over 60, this is the way we wish all retailers would serve us right now!
