This was a great place till the new owners started allowing a homeless man to live behind their store that harasses customers. For months now my attempts to contact the owners regarding this issue have been unsuccessful. ⚠️⚠️Be cautious when stopping here⚠️⚠️

A very friendly family runs this small authentic Mexican eatery at the far end of Rancho Village, a gas station convenience store. There isn't a lot of room, just four stools set at their counter. Their birria is on point and wonderful over their smothered curly fries ($8). We tried a handful of things -- quesabirria taco ($2.50 ea), consomé, horchata -- while all were not the most flavorful in town, they were pretty good. I would suggest they switch tortillas, as this cheap one gets tough to chew. Plus their house orange salsa has decent flavor, a bit spicy, but is very watery and runs everywhere. This is a birrieria, so their menu isn't too diverse, but getting larger all the time. Beyond birria, they do offer carne asada and chicken. Accepting cards with a $3 minimum, you can even order food at the drive-thru window on the opposite side (though traffic may back up). After your meal inside, take ticket with you and pay at the convenience store register. Though it's a little cluttered inside, they keep the counter nice and clean. But it's not an actual bar top so it is a little uncomfortable to eat at. Takeout is your best option here. There are a lot of competitors nearby, but Rancho has a few unique items that set them apart. We will definitely be back.

K, so hear me out. Inside the gas station is a taco stand. This taco stand makes birria. Said birria can come with hot sauce flavored ramen. Mind.blown. So good!

Ignore those 1 star comments! I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Great food and great prices, I’ve tried birria tacos from different places in okc and this one is my favorite. The consume is not salty nor watery and once you squeeze that lime in it be hitting different, meat is not dry just perfect, tortillas are not burnt or hard, the tacos have the perfect amount of meat and not overloaded. Customer service is at 1000 out of 10.

I didn't get tacos like the pictures in the reviews. I just got red tortillas, very little onion and cilantro, and cost $9.41. I got very sick with food poisoning from eating here. Not recommended.

Hands down the best birra tacos in OKC. The service is friendly and totally approachable. Today was my first time in and I told them we heard about the Birra tacos from social (a Facebook foodie group) and while it's not at all close to where I live, I'll be back and make the trip to have tacos and a friendly chat with the owners any day. I'm completely charmed by passionate shop owners and want to support them in every way possible. Please come visit and enjoy the beefy, savory tacos and homemade consome. I don't eat hot Cheetos but I got the quesadilla for the kids and they LOVED it!! Call ahead for your order and it'll be ready for pickup I less than 10 mins. Or eat inside like we did and have a nice talk with the family that owns the convenience store/taco shop.

We having been going here for their Quesabirria tacos. Went yesterday after not going in a few months. Completely disappointed. 1st, the tacos are no longer fried... there were just red colored Tortillas. Next, they give you a much much smaller portion of the consume. Let's talk about the consume... bland to say the least. Almost transparent looks like water. No longer the red thick rich consume that they used to serve. Why fix something thats not broken. Maybe they'll see this review and go back to how they used to make them. If I wanted a bland snack I would eat a salad. Please go back to how you used to make them.
