My husband was having problems with his truck. Coolant was leaking. He checked the hoses the previous night to make sure it wasn't just a fixable leak, no luck or no visible problems. The next day his truck started overheating on his way home from work. He never let the truck get too hot, he parked and let it cool off every time the temp started rising until he made it to Moore and took the truck to R.W. Automotive. They call him and tell him he needs a new radiator and it will be $550+ to fix. He tells them to go ahead and fix it. The next day the truck was finished, we go pick up the truck, get home and my husband pops the hood and sees a cracked fan cover held together by glue and zip ties. He calls R.W. and let's the guy know they broke the fan cover, to which the guy admits to breaking the fan cover and tells my husband he will order a new one and put it on for him. My husband was ok with that since they were trying to make it right. The next day my husband gets a call from, who I am assuming is the "manager", who then tells my husband they will not be replacing his fan cover, they are $260 and they won't replace it. Then proceeds to try to accuse my husband of letting the truck get too hot and that's what broke it, when the guy my husband spoke to the day before admitted they broke it and said they would replace it. So now my husband is stuck with a rigged up fan cover held together by zip ties and glue that R.W. refuses to fix. They were nice enough to offer 2 broken ones they'd gotten from a salvage yard that were cracked and had zip ties on them too!! What a joke!! Just a fair warning to take pictures of every part of your vehicle if you let them do anything to it, or they will screw you over too if they break anything!! We will not recommend them to anyone ever!! Poor customer service and all around shady business practice!!

As a first-time customer, I was initially hopeful for good service after reading positive reviews (most reviews are from over a year ago) so I’m not sure if there was a change in management. Over the phone, the staff was pleasant and informative. However, when I dropped off my vehicle, I received a different level of service. There was no information provided or even casual conversation, just a brief greeting. I found this odd, but based on the reviews, I decided to proceed.
The next day, they informed me of the issues with my vehicle and provided a quote. The price was quite high, but since I don't know much about cars, I trusted their assessment. When I went in to pay, there was again no personal interaction with the mechanics, just a quick "here's your total and your keys." I found this lack of communication strange, but not everyone is talkative, so I let it go.
Fifteen minutes into my drive home, the check engine light came back on. Since they were closing soon, I decided to call back the next morning. When I returned my car, they said another part needed replacing. Once again, I received little information in person, and when I picked up my car for the second time, the check engine light was off. However, after driving for about 30 minutes, it came back on.
After taking my car back 3 times, I finally got to speak with the mechanic and he called me directly, instead of the front desk staff. He explained that the error code was one they initially saw, but because of the make of the car, there was nothing they could do, and I would need to take it to a dealership. I spent $1,400, yet my car is still not fixed. If I had known that the car needed to be seen at a dealership, I wouldn't have had it serviced at this location.
I'm writing this review to help other women avoid a similar experience because I feel taken advantage of.

I got an appointment for the next morning and my work was completed quicker than they estimated. Shop labor was very reasonable. All of the employees I encountered were courteous and friendly.

I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars. They got my car done in a timely manner and stayed in contact. When I left the shop, something felt off and I called to them about it. The next morning I get a call asking if I could bring it back in because the tech was concerned. These guys are amazing and I will be back!

My family has used RW for years and they have always offered a fair price for labor, quality work and fast service. I would highly recommend them for any automotive service you might need.

Never had to take a vehicle back for a failed repa. Been a customer since 2006. Always fast and prompt, many times, the final bill was cheaper than the original estimate. Wouldn't trust my vehicle to anyone else.

This is the place you want to take your car if you don't want to get taken advantage of by a repair place. RW Automotive is fair and honest.
