What a great company!! The staff was so helpful and talked me thru their whole process. After speaking to so many different companies trying to find a transmission for a 2004 Pontiac this company was so professional I couldn’t help but select them ✨❤️ I will 100% choose them again in the future.

I bought an engine from them 460 miles driven and a valve spring breaks trashing the engine. They sent another engine but getting the labor paid for is impassable and the company has an “I just don’t care” attitude. I wish I would have looked at all the bad reviews before I did business with them. I advise against doing business with these people they only want your money and send out faulty engines leaving you to spend your money fixing them. $4058.00 down the drain. Never again with these people.

After talking to support the company shipped me a new engine in days which I'm glad to say runs the way the first engine should have.

"RETURN CORE CHARGE" OUT MY MONEY AND STILL WAITING FOR THE MAGIC RETURN DOCUMENTS AFTER SEVERAL MONTS OF WAITING ...I ordered my new motor here August 31st 2023.It took several weeks which was fine.I was told by the sales department that this was a complete motor and that if I ordered the "install package" that the mechanic would have everything needed to complete the job.The motor was shipped without the upper oil pan mechanical oil return assembly pump.The "oil pan" itself I understand it's external to the engine block however most companies sell the package including this part.I said nothing to this company and rolled with it, I purchased a new one and paid 900$ plus .I just paid the extra labor too. 400$I asked for the return paper work to be emailed to me 2 separate times including last Friday.I was told it would be sent.I ended up way over budget on this and I'm still out my core charge cash. Probably no one willread this but it's out there now.

BUYER BEWARE - I bought an engine from company. A gentleman name "Joseph" was happier than a fly on **** to sell me on their product AND this so-called warranty. I paid over 3300.00 for a remanufactured engine and over 2000.00 to have it professionally installed just to find out it had compression issues. It's garbage. I literally need a new engine.So this is where the fun REALLY begins. I start a claim with their so- called warranty department thinking they would fix this issue for me. Nope. The warranty department told me that I was responsible most of the diagnostic tests (over 300.00) that they require, and I have to pay everything over 50.00 per hr for labor. On top of that, apparently my salesman "Joseph" neglected to tell me that I ALSO HAD TO PAY THE UPFRONT COSTS AND THEN SEND THE FAULTY ENGINE BACK FOR TESTING TO MAKE SURE I WASNT LYING, OR WRONG. If the warranty department decides the engine was faulty, then and only then do I get reimbursed the money I paid to get ANOTHER ENGINE and pay the LABOR totalling over FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. Hey Joseph, that's a pretty big derail you left out. And honestly, I don't think this is even a warranty issue. You sold me a bad motor. Either fix it on powertrains dime 100% or take your garbage motor back and give me a refund. Period.When I first called Joseph at powertrain to make him aware of this nightmare, I explain I wasn't going to be an unruly customer about this and I needed his help. He actually even said he was going to try and help. He said he would talk to his manager. Well, I called back like 6 times and finally reached him again. I told him I wanted his company to make this right and pay for a new engine and pay the labor to have it installed. After I said that, poof, gone. I must have called 6 more times. Nothing. Finally I received a text from him telling me he didn't forget about me. At this point I begged him to make it right. Poof, gone again. This time zero response to my calls, emails and texts.I started a complaint with the BBB, and they responded with some nonsense about how the motor I purchased wasn't in stock and they refunded me. What? Lol wrong customer, guy. So I'm continuing that whole fight there. My next step is contacting the state about this company that ripped me off. I'm sure there's other customers out there that have had the same issue. Ill also be working with a private attorney soon if this can't be resolved.I'm beyond words with this situation right now. I feel like I was ripped off. Robbed of my hard earned money. Maybe even fraud.... We'll soon find out.

When I called for the 1st time I was desperate looking for an engine for our food truck. We didn’t known which engine it was, however Damon helped us out, he did more than help. He found the exact engine, he was VERY helpful, I don’t know much about engines but he explained it to me clearly, he was patient and it was done in an expeditious manner. By him finding the engine he got us out of a real jam. I could go on and on about Damon…we are ver grateful with Damon and power train company llc. Thank you!!

I bought an engine from the Powertrain company. It was one of the most easiest and pleasant transactions I have made. Yes I used the word ‘Pleasant’! Damon was my contact with Powertrain. He walked me through every step of the purchase, made sure the engine I ordered was the exact match for mine and was patient while I had to check with my customer for a day or two. We finished the purchase, got a great warranty, and it was shipped and received promptly. Once received, it was packaged perfectly with all the pertinent information. My engine swap was simple and easy. The engine fired off the first time and has run beautifully ever since. Damon worked with me consistently through phone calls making sure that the pick up for my old engine went smoothly. It did!At this point, I would definitely buy my engines from Powertrain! Also, I will only work with Damon. He was a blessing and treated me as a friend. He wasn’t fake and he wasn’t selling me. Working with Rob Valdez was amazing! He always got back to me quickly with all the answers. Was so glad to have someone knowledgeable, who could walk me through the transmission process.Ford just ran me around for months, put a bandaid on my car till the warranty was through & waited for my car to implode.I would definitely purchase products from Powertrain!!! We purchased a remanufactured transmission for our 2021 Chevy Silverado from these guys. Steve and his crew were excellent in working with us. They were very friendly and professional. Steve took the time to explain all the details of the transaction. We received our transmission in 2 days as promised. We have ordered a rear bumper from them as well. We are extremely pleased with our experience with them and highly recommend them for all vehicle needs. Thank you again Powertrain Company for getting us back on the road again. We greatly appreciate you!

Powertrain Company was totally awesome to work with, I had called several places even found it alittle cheaper, but the other company was impossible to get ahold of and when you did leave a message they never got back to you. I put in my information with Powertrain and Duston took care of the rest he was great to work with and got me exactly the Transmission I needed, he stayed in touch from start to finish to make sure I was happy with the order fantastic customer service. The transmission came faster then expected and works perfectly, not one problem through the whole experience. Even the core return was easy Jill sent me the BOL and set the date up couldn't get any easier. A+ JOB. Thank you Duston and Powertrain, I would definitely recommend Powertrain Company to a friend

Absolute nightmare so far. Had a Powertrain engine installed in March of 2023. It was leaking from day 1. Timing chain went out in July. After a lot of haggling, the mechanic got involved and got another engine sent. I still had to pay labor out of pocket for the 2nd Powertrain engine.Engine was installed last week and leaking three times worse than the first one, from the right cylinder with less than 100 miles on the engine and per LKQ warranty company, as with previous engine, I'll be responsible for labor costs and will be reimbursed $50 hr. (They literally just picked up old engine on Friday). That will be $8,000 in labor I have paid with zero confidence at this point that I will ever get a properly working engine.Exploring legal action. I'll update this review if something positive comes from talking to Powertrain. Not optimistic about this at all and wish I had never bought anything from Powertrain

I had a friend use Powertrain to replace his engine, so when mine was acting up, I contacted Stephen and he hooked me up with a Gen 4 5.3l GM engine. I ran into delays and these guys were awesome! I also looked into the sealing agent for the flexplate to the crank, and he got me a number where I go the info... It didn't matter what issues I had, he helped me figure it out and get through it. The engine is running great and it was totally worth the cost, PLUS the warranty.

WE GOT A BAD TRANSMISSION RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE. THE PARKING PIN WAS DAMAGED. TOOK IT TO A TRASMISSION SHOP THEY FIXED IT AS POWER TRAIN SAID THEY WOULD PAY THEN BACKED OUT. DUE TO AN EMPLOYEE NOT DOING THEIR JOB. ONLY WANTING TO PAY 135 OUT OF 550 JOB. DONT BUY FROM THEM. HORRIBLE WARRANTY.
