I wouldn’t even give them one star been dealing with them for 3 years. Still no updates in my case. Don’t return calls or emails. But I paid them up front. So to me they are a scam took my money and ran.

Plz beware of hiring Rod Polson to help w ur taxes. We hired them approx 15 yrs ago. Our taxes should have been taken care of (we had the $) in just a couple yrs. However, this company is so busy your file just falls down in the crack. The interest rate starts going up up up & up!! Next thing u owe 5x than what u originally owe. We know this because we had a friend who worked for Rodpolson and she told us this is what they do... Lose your file.Now we're working directly with the state and the IRS hopefully getting money back since Rodpolson did absolutely nothing but turned our hundred thousand dollar tax bill into 1/2 million dollars. So beware and hire another tax company!!!!

This company is a perfect example of extortion at its finest. They don't care about helping their clients just about how much money they can get out of them. I have paid 4500.00 for them to basically mail my returns to the IRS that I prepared.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We paid the start up fee and then nothing. They only called the IRS one time and then didn’t do anything else. Then a year later when I tried to resolve the issue myself, they messed up the offer in compromise I was submitting to the IRS. I cancelled services with them over a year ago and I am still dealing with their bullsh!t.

Do NOT use them! They are the worst tax relief company! They do absolutely nothing for you. They take your money up front. We began in 2017 with them to try to get help with the IRS and Okla. State taxes. We never received any calls from them to tell us where we stood or what we needed to do for about three years. When we called to try to find out from the beginning, we never could get a straight answer. When we found out who our attorney was, he/she would always be too busy and said they would call us back. We would call back and that person would have left the company, so then we would have to start all over again. It’s been 6 years now and still haven’t gotten anywhere. We went through at least 6 different attorneys/advisors (whatever their titles are) and was always unsuccessful. Every time it was a different person, we had to supply the new person with the exact same paperwork because they would tell us they couldn’t find any documentation that we had sent it to them; EVEN though, more than once, my husband handed them the paperwork in person. He drove there more than once to give it to them and they would tell us they couldn’t find it. That it was never processed/entered/scanned into the computer for them to locate.

I paid polston tax $15,000 to clear up unpaid taxes and 6 months after cashing the check , they sent my file to me and did nothing. Thanks.

I contacted Polson back before the coof koof hit and shut everything down. i knew up front that nobody can wave a magic wan and have everything resolved in short order and a very short time, much less if various government offices closed.Everything was explained upfront and they did a great job of keeping me in the loop and we pushed through with the journey.

I was waiting on a phone call from Polston Tax lawyer James Feliksik because I owed $103,000 on taxes,I was wondering all morning and worrying what he was gonna say,I thought he might say I got down to $75,000 for you, but no he said he could get in down to a little over $3000. PLEASE BE AWARE! This company is ONLY a marketing scam used as an excuse to take your money. They DO NOT have your best interest at heart, and honestly could care less. After going through our experience with them, we have learned that these "attorneys" have 400-500 clients at any one time; therfore, they cannot possibly give your specific case the attention it requires. We also learned that, as they are debiting your checking account for about $350 a month, they are not even close to actually working on your case monthly. They are WAY more interested in having you do a marketing video for them. Also, they do not know the definition of "resolution" which is the act of finding an answer or solution to a conflict, problem, etc: the act of resolving something (emphasis on "resolving"). They do not RESOLVE your tax issue and they do not provide adequate information and explanation of your case. Unfortunately, we found out, after the fact, that our "resolution" only served to get us $10,000 further into debt with the IRS. Oh, AND, if your case should require more intensive attention, they will sell that to you in the form of an "upgrade" which costs you even more money per month. Rod Polston should be ashamed of himself for taking advantage of people who find themselves in need of real help. My review of this company is actually ZERO stars! I pray that this review serves to be helpful to the citizens of Oklahoma.

If you are reading this and contemplating using this company....DONT DO IT. They're communication was awful we had 3 different "resolution specialists" all of which had to start the process from the beginning which meant we were paying them additional $$. Oh and if you question their process, you will get a nasty gram email.So my suggestion is this: address your tax issues as soon as you get them. Contact the IRS and make arrangements with THEM because the amount you would be paying these crooks can be applied to your tax bill.

We have paid Polston tons of money starting 2 years ago. They have yanked us around nonstop. Have been waiting for our tax refund since June 2022. They said it would be in our account then. No it was not. My husband’s bank accounts got froze instead. Polston has refused to call back or anything. We have yet to receive his returns, and the IRS is saying they have absolutely zero records of our stuff ever being filed from Polston. I will be contacting a lawyer tomorrow if we don’t get a call and something figured out today considering I have already called the office again today. I see many other reviews recently regarding this same situation happening. Oh I also turned this situation over to the BBB.
