βUnfortunately ill be taking medication of some sort the rest of my life due to a MVA in 2006..Starting in 2007 is when i first started taking any kind of medicine & I have been going to the same Pharmacy since then which was 2007 (17 Years Ago)I didn't think I was ever going to leave United Discount Pharmacy..I live in Midwest City/Del City 1 So the monthly 20 mile round trip to 50th & Portland was becoming too long of a drive so I decided to start looking for a closer pharmacy here in Midwest City...Its tough to find a small "Mom & Pops Pharmacy"I looked forever & my friend referred me to Marks & I am more than satisfied and you guys have a customer until im gone or you guys are gone lol.Very good people that work here & Exactly what i'm looking for considering i'm at the pharmacy a lot.I want to get to know the good folks at Marks..And so far all the people u have met fantastic & If I left you out.It's because I have not met you & i look forward to meeting you..AudraCindyKyndaLon, You guys are great!!: Thank you so much for accepting me as a new patientβ

βCVS puts Walmart at the bottom of the barrel in ever way possible!
Last month my CVS relocated so I decided to give Walmart a shot. (Big Mistake)
I was refilling my 10/325 Hydrocodone.
The price was $26.00. I immeasurable questioned that to make sure they were giving me the generic. CVS has never charged me more than $11.30. I went to CVS this morning and paid the $11.30. EVERYTHING about CVS is so far superior that it makes Walmart a very sad and disreputable company.β
βI canβt believe itβs taking me a lifetime to start shopping here. I feel like an idiot. As much money as I have dumped into Walmart in the past 10 years I couldβve probably saved 50,000 going to Samβs Club conservatively the entire time. Iβve been shopping for my business. I have a tattoo shop right around the corner called Tattoos & Piercings Near Me Next to Brahms on N May. We are open 24 hours a day and often times need to make an errand when the stores are closed since weβre open so late. I know itβs hard to believe but thereβs a lot of people that come to the tattoo shop at night. Anyway, Samβs Club allows me to come in at 8 oβclock in the morning to fill up and all of the Snacks, drinks, and office supplies when I need it most. Itβs hard to keep up with so many people wanting piercings and tattoos last minute and I was walk-ins especially whenever we are ranked number one in the city. I give away a lot of free stuffβ¦ I can give away even more because itβs so much more affordable shopping at Samβs Club. And! I am also the owner of Backpack Rescue. We give out homeless bags to those who are without shelter. We included the many things that Samβs Club provides in bulk.β

βKelly is fantastic. My CPap stopped working and I could not get the medical supply company I bought it from to return my calls for over a week. I contacted Kelly at Major Medical Supply and she had me come in. She took the time to contact the company of my Cpap directly and within a couple of minutes had the answer to the problem. What a jewel. From now forward, I will not use any other medical supply company for my needs. Thank you, Kelly.β
βI went to sam's club optical today to buy my friend some glasses. The visiting manager, Tori, and her associate Mar were amazingly friendly and helpful. Tori explained the advantages of the protection bundles for prescription glasses and how to increase additional savings through the membership upgrade. I couldn't believe that this wonderful level of optical care was available at Sam's club. Awesome experience by way of amazing people.β
βShout out to Derrick, Faryn, Ryan, Eddie, Izzy, and one other gentleman who we weren't able to get the name of! My cousin and I came to purchase a couch last Friday, and Derrick and the other gentleman worked hard to get the boxes down for us! We didn't realize how big the boxes were going to be, so when we needed help breaking down the box to unload the parts one by one, Faryn, Ryan, and Eddie so kindly and patiently helped us! At first, the parts didn't seem like they would fit, so they even tried to help us by recommending that we rent out a Home Depot truck. Izzy was so patient and kind as he put our disassembled couch on hold, while we tried to figure out how to transport our couch home. When we weren't able to rent out the truck, we tried again to get the parts to fit, and they finally did with the help of all of these kind, patient, and strong men! Izzy was super accomodating, as he allowed parts of our couch to be on hold at the store as we made two trips to bring the couch back to our apartment. We wouldn't be able to enjoy our couch now without all the care we received that day from the amazing staff we met! Thank you guys a bunch! :)β

βI'm only able to take a particular manufacturer of a medicine due to having a very sensative body chemistry. I explained this to the pharmacist months ago when there was a nationwide shortage of the medication. She put the brand I needed on my file, and I've gone in every few weeks for months to see if they've received it. Fortunately, the manufacturer released some to another pharmacy and I was able to get it withing a few days of running out. However, I'll be out of the country when my current refill runs out, so I'm still in the queue with this CVS. Yesterday I received a msg that the prescription had been filled. What a relief!!!! I went to pick it up today, and fortunately I looked at the prescription before paying for it and it WAS NOT the manufacturer my body can tolerate. In fact, it's from a company I have had a bad reaction to in the past.
When I refused the med, I told the tech that I can only take XYZ brand, and that was placed on my file. The pharmacist pipped in that XYZ isn't making the medication any longer. First, that's irrelevant. If a patient has a specific brand only listed on their file, there's a reason. Had I not noticed the slight color difference between the brand I can take and the brand they tried to sell me, they would have compromised my health! How unethical and dangerous to swap out a medication without informing the patient (when a specific brand is listed on the patient's account). Second, the pharmacist gave out incorrect information. The manufacturer is indeed still making the medication. I know this because I was able to get it filled elsewhere less than two weeks ago, after it not being available anywhere in the US for at least three months. Perhaps CVS isn't going to be able to carry it again, but that isn't the same as it not being available to patients who can only take that brand. Had I been the type to just trust the professional, I would have been of the mindset that I was just out of luck to take care of my medical needs.β
