I’ve taken 3 of my dogs in the past for emergency situations and they treated us with respect, kindness, and went above and beyond for us every single time! I could not be more grateful for this place!!

Our 10 year old dog was severely dehydrated and having some kind of intestinal hemorrhage issues that freaked us all out. Of course it happened on a Saturday and emergency care was our only option. This vet hospital was an excellent choice and I’m so glad we brought her here. The wait was only about half an hour and after the vet examined her, we discussed treatment options. Because of financial constraints, we opted for symptomatic treatment rather than a full work up, and I was thankful they didn’t pass any judgement on us for that. The meds they gave her and the after care instructions were amazing and our dog seems to be recovering wonderfully. I highly recommend taking your pet here - they’re very caring and understanding and will do the best for your pet that you can afford.

My little fur baby ingested a significant amount of toxic plant material. Blue Pearl couldn't help us as they were in between shifts for the vet. I drove 30 minutes across town to Neels Vet Hospital and what a blessing they turned out to be! The staff was so kind and the doctor was thorough, professional, personable, and took time to explain everything. My pup was well taken care of and she is back to her happy bouncy self! I highly recommend them for any emergency your pet may have.

Learn from my mistakes from this hospital as my pet died (AKA GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!):- They tailor a plan to fit your finances, not on what will get your pet well. I was wondering why they wasn’t finding out what was wrong with Pooh Bear then later found out… It was due to the estimate I signed and by that time… it was too late. I thought we were doing a daily estimate or things could change as we progressed. They would suggest things as I INQUIRED about them.-They don’t have Vetbilling… Even though Vetbilling says they do?!- When I said to do whatever you can to save him, they kept asking me when was it okay to do a blood transfusion and told me the estimate. I approved it. Several times, I had to approve it within hours at a time.-The doctor, on the third day, said, “In your situation, putting him down is a fair choice.” She said it again, after he was gone, that I did more than what most people would have done “in my situation”… SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT MY FINANCES, NOT HIS MEDICAL HEALTH!-Sometimes they are very punctional and other times they stand and goof off as your pet is dying.-You better be on your toes and ask them questions. I had the mindset of “trust the professionals” and then found out about the estimates. I WISH I had stayed on top of them and bossed them around or I wish I told them to transfer us somewhere else!

February 2023I awoke to discover my 15 year old Pomeranian, Miss Blue bled on her potty pad in the night.I was panicked but called Neel Veterinary Hospital and they got me in immediately. The wait time for her triage was reasonable, and they checked her out soon after I arrived. They were very professional, thorough and compassionate. They took a urine sample to test and found indications of a UTI, then got me on my way with antibiotics for her quickly.I was very impressed and would recommend them to anyone. They listed all the possible things that could be wrong with her, but were very kind and gave me hope.I know she's old, weighs less than 8 pounds, has cataracts, very few teeth and was rescued from a puppy mill 9 years ago. She's also my emotional support animal because I am a 100% Disabled Veteran from a head injury in the Army that left me stricken with neurological issues.Miss Blue is a cancer survivor, and has been in remission for the past 8 years. She is old for a dog, but sturdy, energetic, and happy.I know we all must go sometime, and that anytime cancer is in remission there's a potential for it to come galloping back.I thought I was prepared mentally but seeing blood on her potty pad really shook me.When I called Neel VeterinaryHospital, Kiana answered.Kiana's the patient/pet owner's liaison and she said to bring Blue in so I drove right over.Miss Blue's a good dog. Knowing her time is limited and expecting it, is quite different from waking up and being concerned that her time may have come at last. This old dog means a lot to me.Everyone at Neel was very happy to see her and they put me at ease, treating her very well and making sure she was comfortable.I am glad that I brought Miss Blue to NVHbecause I discovered they have people who have been working there over 30 years. They do what they do because they live and love to help animals. From the moment I walked in,Kiana made me feel better.I appreciated knowing I had brought Miss Blue to an efficient, well maintained animal hospital that's far more than a business.Dr Logan and Kiana have both been there over 30 years.Everyone there was nice and caring. It's a real team effort, the staff, the animals, and the owners are all in this together.I was glad and relieved that I brought Miss Blue here.Animal health matters to them at Neel and they truly care.It shows.Andrew John Boughter______________________February 2024PS: Miss Blue developed serious issues, and I had to take her to Neel's where they helped her peacefully pass on Monday 2/5/24.She was only a month from her 17th birthday.Letting her go was the most excruciating and sad event that I have experienced. The kind people at Neel's made this easier to handle.Miss Blue had been with me for nearly 10 years. She made me a better human.I still see her when I walk in my place, hear her nails clicking on the linoleum.I just truly appreciated the staff at Neel's. I was a mess and they were so sympathetic and empathetic.I would never have wished to lose Blue, but taking her to Neel's was the only one because of how they cared for her in the past, I knew she was more than a pet, she was family. They treated us with compassion and respect.Thank You Neel's,I feel like your prompt help last February gave me one final year to appreciate her.

I had to take my tiny chi to them today, as she had been throwing up and not eating for the last 2 days. She was trying to drink water, but would throw it up immediately. Getting there, they ask for a $200 deposit, which I was aware of via other reviews. That's fine. It was literally everything I had left in my account, but I was willing to give everything for Littles. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. I thought my baby might have eaten something that didn't agree with her, or caught some kind of bug. Upon exam, they found that she has a heart murmur, stage 2 kidney disease, pancreatitis and an infection in her mouth due to oral issues. I am absolutely devastated. I found my baby at a dumpster a little over 3 years ago and she has been my ride or die ever since. And now I'm terrified. I'm thankful for all the staff, Shane the tech and Dr Taylor for doing everything they could do, under my budget. Everyone was very nice and understanding and comforting. My only complaint is the pricing. I am a single parent of two girls and a grandbaby. I have 2 dogs and cats. I do not receive any kind of assistance, because I "make too much". I don't get child support. I do it on my own. I was only able to pay for minimal care for my baby today and that was with the help of my Mom. I do appreciate the kindness when I was very upset/scared/sad and I do understand that medical facilities have to be able to pay their employees and pay for their technology. I work in Opthalmology. I just cannot believe that it cost me almost $700 to get minimal care for my girl. Minimal. And I was there for over 4 hours. Our office charges $100 for a full dilated exam with imaging and a glasses Rx. That's self pay. For humans! I just can't understand. I do feel that they were very thorough, wanted to help my dog and were very nice when I was breaking down. I just feel that when people are so vulnerable, they should not be taken advantage of. And it felt that way. To get the care she needs, it was going to be over $1,300!!! And that is just the starting of treatment. I'm heartbroken that I couldn't afford it. I just want Littles to be ok. I'm glad I went, because now I know, but oh my gosh, I cannot believe the cost. Thank you Shane and Dr Taylor for being so caring and updating me on costs of procedures, etc. I would give 5 stars if I was rich and could afford such fees, even with the long wait. I can tell that you both are compassionate and I know you don't make the rules. It just sucks. Littles is drinking water without throwing it up, but still won't eat. I'm hoping later tonight or tomorrow she will eat something and keep it down. Again, glad I took her, really sad that I couldn't afford to do everything possible to help my best friend.

The fear of all owners of mature pets is after hour emergency. This happened last weekend to me. My long time vet was of course not open on weekends. I panicked and could only think of this as emergency 24 care center. While the outcome was exactly as I feared would happen one day the compassion and care my cat received was amazing. The professional treatment of my feelings was top notch. I was allowed to be with her in those last moments, comfort her and the staff was attuned to her needs as well as my own. I miss her terribly but can’t thank them enough. The personalized card received today was so touching.

Tina Neel is a ruthless doctor that lacks true compassion and care for animals. She falsely misdiagnosed my sweet and beautiful girl and purposely delayed a test and providing good test results. My girl ended up going into cardiac arrest for unnecessary terrifying hospital stay and stress. Her negligent criminal actions killed my girl. Dr. Wilde is also cold, unempathetic and incompetent. The lack of care at this hospital is inhumane and despicable. They ignored the real issue with my baby, a minor- need rest and heal at home issue. Take caution to prevent a broken heart and tragedy. Their intention is not to care for animals. Greed is the root of all evil. Tina Neel gets away with her callous criminality toward fur babies from having close ties to the corrupt state veterinary board.

I took my kitten in for a semi-urgent issue. Just understand that they are going to take high priority urgent cases first. Staff is very thorough in addressing your concerns and they give you an estimate for possible treatment options. Dr. Mac was profesional and explained everything to me in a way that was relatable and easy to understand. I would trust this facility with any of my pets.

My 1 yr old French bulldog daisy died after going here they waited for an hour and a half before they got her on an I'v after she had started having seizures at our house because Noone had said before they touch ur pet u have to pay 200 dollars so they immediately took her when we got there and let her sit in the back on the brink of death for an hour And a half before telling us they want 200 to START treatment after already saying she was started on a treatment when we got there they lied and said that she was doing well and she was fine when in fact they hadn't even touched her yet so we ended up paying 800 more dollars for them to prolong her suffering to 1230 pm the next day when she died at home they knew she was going to die and failed to tell us they didn't think she'd make it they said she'd be fine had they said they didn't think she'd make it I'd of rather of put her down that night instead they prolonged her suffering and gave her a b12 shot and a lil iv fluid and sent her home telling us she'd be fine DO NOT TAKE UR PETS HERE THEY DO NOT CARE GO TO AWESOME ANIMAL CLINIC

Took my cat here and while the vet was nice and did a good job the pricing is very predatory. I was charged a $200 down payment, was told it would be a "total" of 328, which moved up to 528, while on my credit card I now have a total of 728 charged. This is very predatory and even if they have great staff I will never be returning. They did fix the issue by refunding 200 but only because I called. Seems fishy and leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

All the staff treated us with the utmost respect and gave our dog the best we could have asked for. Would definitely recommend this vet hospital.
