This review is for the store located at
8345 N Rockwell Ave Oklahoma City, OK 73132, only.
This is the second time in a row that Jacinta was extremely rude to me! She told me that she is the manager. This is hard to believe they a company would put someone in that position that clearly doesn’t want to be there. After shopping in the store for 2 hours, she told me I HAD to leave the store because they were “CLOSED!” It was 909 PM at that time (I was at the register to check out prior to 9PM) & the ONLY reason I was still there is because she wasn’t smart enough to know how to apply the $5 off coupon that I earned for picking up my online order in the store. The coupon was sent to my email, had a barcode, stated it was for “In Store Only,” AND expired that same day. So my ONLY opportunity to use it was prior to leaving this day. Jacinta claimed that I couldn’t use it because it wasn’t on my app! She was wrong & didn’t like being told that what she was saying was not correct. The emails telling me I’d receive it after my pick up order & the coupon itself were very clear. When I tried reading what the coupon & my email stated, she didn’t want to hear it & began talking over me. She’s mean, rude, and hateful & apparently thinks she must walk out the door at closing time! ! Said she was going to call the police, which she claims she did. I waited in the parking lot for about 45 minutes (also documenting what had just occurred! The police never showed. So she’s a liar too. She accused me of yelling at her, which is also not true. I raised my voice because she kept talking over me! I have a lot of patience & anyone who knows me would tell you so, but she was really upsetting me! My anxiety was through the roof. Over a $5 off coupon that I insisted I use. This employee is certainly no asset to JoAnn’s Fabric! I reported her to Corporate last time for this same thing! Is her behavior acceptable to this company? If not, why is she still acting like this to customers? I read other 1 star reviews about the employees at this particular location. This is NOT an isolated incident! It’s unacceptable! I was told by her that they were closed & I had to come back the following day! Everything was rang up, the $5 coupon only needed applied so I could pay & leave. I generally shop at the Stillwater Oklahoma location & have not had any problems with their friendly & helpful employees! Based on other reviews of this location, some employee training would be appropriate! I’ve worked retail years ago & I can say without question if I’d treated customers half as bad as Jacinta treats customers, I’d have been fired! It’s unacceptable behavior! Customers such as myself are the reason she has a job!

Went with my mother to look for fabrics. Asked for samples and the lady cut only 1 inch samples - but they charged us for each one and charged for 2 full inches on them all. The lady who cut the fabric was helpful and kind, but her fellow employee (manager?) had an attitude and very unpleasant/rude tone with us and with the lady helping us for no apparent reason. I don't mind paying for samples, however, they should cut what they are charging us for, or charge only for one inch if one inch is what is cut... not cut one inch and charge for 2 inches.

Absolutely terrible customer service, closed the doors in my wife & daughter's face 15mins before closing. When I went to walk up because I couldn't believe they were closing early so many times in a row, the doors opened, and to our surprise they were indeed open to other customers, yet just closing early and refusing us because "she was the only person working". I don't understand, you were the only one working when the couple of customers currently checking out were shopping as well? I just truly hope she wasn't a manager, because she was overly rude about the situation averting like we were in the wrong for wanting to shop during business hours. Just an FYI JOANN management. We are a small business, yet we spend about $500-$750 per week with this store. After this event, all the money we use to spend there for our craft jewelery business is now going 100% online. The only reason we paid the extra in the first place was to support our local economy. We can't afford business dealings of this nature any longer. Thank you for the years of decent service before, but I'm truly saddened to see how far your staff and service has fallen over the years. We'll leave it there

If you want to be ignored and have a HORRIBLE customer service experience come to this JOANN'S!! Waited at the registers for over 5 minutes and when asked the two employees that didn't acknowledge my existence, they also acted like it was a burden. If I could give them 0 stars I would!!!! NEVER COME HERE!!!!!

Just had a miserable experience. Judith & Amber need to be held accountable for stealing $72 from their customer and not having any solution to fix it except to call a phone number where you’re placed on hold for 20+ minutes and then redirected back to the managers of the store. Absolutely unbelievable when Amber accused us of being the liars in this situation when Judith clearly knew the issue at hand. She even knew the lady who caused the issue in the first place. It was the most ridiculous thing after she just sat there for 30 minutes and hearing confirmation from customer service that there was in FACT a balance. She probably won’t be punished as she did this directly in front of her superior Judith like it was a common thing for their customer service to say.My gift card balance (if I’m ever going to get it back) will be my last purchase from this JOANNs. Their employee somehow screwed up the gift card into where it’s unusable. Customer service says they can see the balance but the card is unusable for some reason as it comes up invalid.Judith might be the worst problem solver in the world and was extremely rude. Told me that there was nothing she could do whenever it was clear there is but it’s going to take extra work on her end.In summary, I will always be going to the place that the Lord built, Hobby Lobby, for all my crafting needs. JOANNs is overpriced as hell for this type of treatment.

They have a number call system at the cutting station but rarely use it. There is usually a long line of people with several bolts so if your only getting a couple yards of a ribbon it would be nice if they had an express line dedicated to those get 3 yards or less.

I like the store, went in today to grab some fabric and Keraya was really busy in her phone. She wasn't paying attention when cutting the fabric and she tossed the fabric in a ball. Asked to get a second cut of fabric, seeing how the first one was really messed up. She said yeah, it's how it was left. She cut me another piece, paying me no attention and just laughing, hopefully at her phone. She finished, slid my fabric and put the receipt on the counter. There was no customer service skills present and honestly, was a very disappointing experience.

Love the store but not a one close to me. Do not try ordering online. I have tried for two weeks! Nada. Grief! Mucho. 3 times was my attempt. In okc and norman. The beginning of the end. No innovation. Hobby Lobby here I come.
