I ended paying back almost $500 on a $200 loan. Their interest rate is extremely high. I don't claim to know a lot when it comes to math or interest rates but I know with every other loan company I've went though I only ended up paying back $40 more than what I borrowed versus paying back almost double the amount I borrowed with these guys. I went back a 2nd time and borrowed another $200. My payments were set to $40.. I just went in and made my first payment today. I paid $60 and it only took my bill down to $180.. How?how does paying $60 only take $20 off the amount owed? If you need a pay day loan I would recommend going somewhere else. Also, they will run your card for the full amount automatically if you fail to call them the day before and let them know you'll be in to make a payment.

Cashland (the nw 39th st. location) is the only location I can speak for. I had the absolute worse experience with the young white lady. Firstly, I witnessed her mistreating a black lady who was in front of me. She spoke down to her and she had a very nasty attitude. The lady walked away mumbling under her breath she was so mad. When it came my turn, I presented the check and was told what I needed in order for them to help me. I left and came back with everything I was told I needed. Everything matched and could be verified. Then I was told that the check could not be verified. This was a blatant LIE. I left again and called the bank myself. I was put in touch with a human that verified the funds. That's when I called the corporate office (no help from them I might add) and went back to Cashland. I gave her the number to call (3 times the amount was verified) She got off the phone and told me that she had to call the person who wrote the check. She did and she spoke with the person who generated the check. - She verified it in every way possible because she didn't want to cash it for me (only because I went the extra mile to prove she and the guy lied) This young lady went in the back with the check for 4 minutes (customers waiting) she and the guy were in the back together discussing it. She came back and told me that the guy she talked to at the company (she called them) could not verify the number on the bottom of the check so she could not cash it. I can't imagine the lie she told the owner but this is what actually happened. I am in touch with several people in regards to this because I refuse the let someone mistreat me in a business position because of my race. If this business is practicing discrimination, the public needs to know. The guy in line said "If it was a white person - you wouldn't have gone through half of the trouble this young girl put you through and she said she did it all because the OWNER told her to do it. Their advertisement clearly states what types of checks they cash but it doesn't state that you have to be a certain type of person (non-black). I was humiliated and spent hours going though this investigation and she still didn't cash the check. If you have had a horrible experience with these people, please write a review so that I can add it to my petition. Thank you
