Ok so this review is for the store at May & 164th for what it's worth! My oldest and I went to get some meat sliced for beef jerky making and boy did they knock it out of the park! Whomever runs the butcher section needs a raise, why you ask? Because they were upfront and genuine and super polite. They treated me and my son like family in a way. They said jokingly that they had a policy that i had to bring some back hahaha, heck ya i will. Honestly a great overall experience, even the self check out lady was over the top nice ! Definitely going back here for our families groceries!

Although Homeland is a little on the pricey side compared to other neighborhood grocery stores, I find this Homeland very convenient and close to my home. I really like their bakery for fresh breads and pastries - absolutely delicious. Great selection of fresh fruit and veggies. Friendly helpful service.

This is a nice sized grocery store. If you haven't been in there it's like a puzzle trying to figure out where everything is. I caught a hard time but got help from employees on where to find different things. Some items weren't in the aisle where they were supposed to be and on different other aisles. That reminds me of Kroger sometimes. Nice clean store and friendly employees.

This homeland is weird. Where's all the produce? Most of the fruit available was pre-sliced, which doesn't really work for me. The new layout is also super weird. I know they all had to do a lot of reworking when the new liquor laws went into effect, but I still think they could have done better. They also do so many weird things. Like, why place all your budget brand stuff at eye level (like in the chips section) and then make me hunt for the good stuff? Or why not have any just regular pita chips. The only option I could find was like pita chips made from jicama or something. That might make sense at a fancier store, but fancy she aint. I also had the weirdest experience ever at the deli, where they would barely speak to me. As a result, I got a pound the thickest ham I've ever seen. I kept it, and was nice about it (because at my house it will get eaten by children no matter what), but then asked for another pound, very thinly sliced. The second pound was still super thick, but whatever. Maybe it takes too long to do it the way I asking for. Then, when I asked for cheese, I had to send two rounds back for being variations on pepper jack when I asked for Colby Jack. They acted put out with me, but my kids will not eat spicy cheese. I was trying to be so nice about it, but to acknowledge their mistake, they would have had to speak to me, so whatever. I think if they're not going to speak to you, they should have a card you fill out, mark what you want, use a sign to tell us how to define the thickness we want, and then I pick it all up when it is done. Instead, I stood there for 30 minutes, feeling like I was speaking another language. I won't be back if I can help it.

It's so refreshing walking in here. It has a welcome home feeling. I was sooo happy to see the selection of flavors in KIND bars they had and also in RX bars! They seemed to have enough cashiers for check out lines and 4 self check outs.
