Legit I gave them my license. They still misspelled my name and so now nobody can locate my account.False prices. I have been charged full price but when calling in (since they misspelled my name after handing them my ID) they cannot locate it.They don’t tell you they charge the full amount on the card and you will get the difference after vs being transparent and just saying this to begin with.These people aren’t budge their cons and lazy liars.. be aware…

Where do I start, have a appointment for 4pm arrival at 330 was told no vehicle's available that some should come in between now & 6pm. Employees don't care if companies over book & companies don't care it's all about profits. Customers don't come first and that is very sad.

DO NOT RESERVE FROM THIS LOCATION!!This is my first experience with Avis and will be my last. This location (509 E MemorialRd. Edmond, OK) has Horrendous customer service, attitude, cleanliness and preparedness.I utilized my AARP card to receive a discount on a week long reservation.After dropping my car off for repairs at the dealership and taking their shuttle to this location, I was told they did not have anything available in the size I reserved. My options were a pickup truck ... which is not an option due to the amount and size of items (that must be secured) for work ... or I could pay more money for the next larger size.Don Hopper (President agency operator) was rude, disrespectful and could have cared less that I was stranded at their office.When I said this was their problem to fix, he slapped my license and credit card on the counter and said they would call me when they had a vehicle. I was floored and told him I would take the upgrade at the same price, and he said he would not do that ... "I have given you the options".I needed to get to work and asked if he would be driving me (since they had nothing readily available) and his very belligerent response was "No!" I asked how he planned to resolve the situation and he stated again "I have given you your options." This office was completely UNPREPARED, and offered nothing that was appropriate for My situation or needs. Finally, he tells me cars were due back, and PERHAPS, one of them would be available.I sat in the lobby waiting (stranded), was now late to work, and the car they eventually gave me was FILTHY, and had an overpowering smell of cat pee.I went inside to tell the other gentleman, and he came out and said he couldn't smell anything (likely because he is used to the overpowering, offensive odor in their lobby). Every single seat in the vehicle had disgusting stains, dog slobber on the back door handle and arm rest, and I was toldthey had nothing to be able to get the stains out of the seats. Only because I was desperate for a vehicle, did I take it. I do not want to put myself, much less my child in this bacteria Petri dish.I filed a formal complaint with Avis corporate today, and was told I could go to any Avis location and exchange the car....which was a complete hassle. However, at the airport location, I encountered a very helpful young man, who not only apologized profusely, but upgraded my vehicle at no extra charge. My experience with the airport location was wonderful.The photos do not do justice to how bad this car looked ... and the smell was so overpowering, I drove with the windows down to try and eliminate the obvious urine (and perhaps) fecal odor. Stay away from the Edmond location. It is acomplete disaster and they have no accountability or business acumen. **** Evening Update: After reading all of the terrible reviews and how people were cheated out of money by this location and individual, I just checked my back account ... for the entire week, the price is $360.11. I asked multiple times about the charges and Don, in a very condescending voice, tells me it is a total of 360.11 (if I bring the car back on time and with a full tank of gas). No problem.They charged my card $548.64!! Not one time did he say I would be charged substantially MORE than what we discussed. I will be calling first thing in the morning to file a second complaint.This is beyond ridiculous!

Be extremely careful when renting from them and read fine print. If you prepay online (which they offer a bit of a discount for… baiting) then you will get absolutely no return if you bring it back early. just brought my rental, which i paid for 7 days with the additional $31/day insurance protection, just returned the car 3 & 1/2 days early, and they offer no refund. Very fishy and borderline scammy. Just go to enterprise.

Horrible don't go to these people. Seem like scam artists.Charge way more then what we were quoted. The gentleman very rude. Doesn't seem to know what they are doing. They guy working with him. You can tell has a I don't care attitude. Very unprofessional. We were not the only customers having a hard time with these people.Do yourself a favor. Go to uhal or someone elseThe kid tried to Mention damage that were on vehicle. When we got it. We quickly pointed out those were not us.

Trash. Absolute trash. The only guy that works here absolutely refused to help us solve our problem (multiple times, btw!) that was on him and his location. They charged our card for an extra 4 days because someone didn't check it in when we returned it. Don't rent from this company at all! We haven't been able to get help at any of the locations that we've dealt with.

Very rude staff. I denied buying the Avis insurance which costs $450.... and the desk employee became very angry and passive aggressive. I would never come back or deal with these people again. Go ANYWHERE but here

Rude, incompetent, unprofessional. They rented me a car that had a defective tire. I had to take time out of my trip to have the tire replaced at my expense and they refused to reimburse. They said that I should have inspected all of the tires before I left the lot. Never again.

Absolutely a waste of time and completely unprofessional. I spent 40 minutes waiting in line and DID NOT get the car I reserved a week in advance. Never apologized for the waste of time and his resolution to the problem was call reservations.

this location gave me a 170k+ mile truck that had no cruise control for my drive to FLORIDA. like, what sense does that make!? the dashboard's plugs for charging also didn't work, only the one in the glove box did.. they also dismissed our attention to detail of the damage that the truck had before we drove off the lot... makes them seem very untrustworthy imo. & just all around thoughtless.awful experience...will never use Budget again & I'm informing everyone to be extra cautious if renting from this location. #uhaulforever

Just stopped to get my rental car and was told since I have a Chime card am unable to rent a vehicle. Hope I don’t get charged for this nonsense thanks a lot, worst service. “If you have a friend who wants to rent the car for you..”

Do NOT rent from this location!!!! First off they gave me a car that smelled so bad that I had to go get a different one from a different location, that was out of my way. Then when I returned the car they claimed it wasn’t full so they charged me an additional $57. This place is a joke.

Tried to up charge services for a rental. When we explained we were aware of cheaper fees, he WAS RELUCTANT and then ( white hair short dude/ business owner that location) became difficult. Scam artist. Tried getting higher fees. Sorry pal, not our 1st rodeo lol. Total tool. We just rented the same size truck different location a week ago. Do not go here 509 Kelly Ave. EDMOND/OKC.

Be sure to have finished the contract and agree in same page before giving out the unit keys. Just went through something I didn't like with old man with white hair not giving a chance to explain anything when returning rental after he already had the keys in his hand.

Booked through expedia with apple pay debit card. Charged be $24 to book. Get there tell me they don’t credit card through apple pay. When trying to come up with solutions the employee just looked at me with smug look on his face saying they could not help me in my emergency situation to get home to Fl. He was happier to not get paid rather then earn my business. I will never ever in my lifetime recommend this place
