If you are looking for a good outdoor surround system DO NOT go to BEST BUY to buy it! They do not honor their warranty and will not come out to fix it when it breaks under warranty. They tell me that we do not do the outdoor systems anymore and can't help you. We can bring you a new system, but you have to dig up the original one and Unwire it and we will give you a new one in the box. Even though this system was just installed last year by them for the second time and they won't even respond back to me now. So please don't waste your money on their systems. Total tech plan is a joke!!!! Best Buy I 240 and Penn is a joke!!! They send a tech to my house he came in and I told him the issue and he said hold on let me go to my truck and call my manager and I'll be right back. Then a few minutes later he just drove off and I never heard from him again. I've talked to the General Manager and he wouldn't even respond to my text!

In the store is pretty much always right on point. Staff are timely and professional. This probably isn't a fair rating. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because I have to go up to the store to get any issue resolved. The customer service phone line is pretty much a joke and adds up to time lost.

Update 4/29/2024: I finally got some action after 2 trips to the store. The manager of the store was able to do an exchange on site. I’m happy that they were able to help me but I stand by what I’ve already said... a customer shouldn’t have to work this hard for something they have already paid for. So Total Tech isn’t a “Total Scam” it’s a “You Gotta Want it Enough Protection Plan.”
Total Tech is a Total Scam. Buyer beware! I've been trying to get my TV repaired/replaced since February and it's now April 16th. They've both approved and disapproved of my TV's replacement 2 times and today finally told me that it was out of their hands. They came out the first time and said with was the board or the screen and they'd be back with both. They came back 2 weeks later with just the board and determined that it was the screen. They said they didn't bring the screen because they no longer make it. So they gave me a number to call to start working on a replacement tv... those folks told me it was approved and said I should be waiting on a call (that never came) so I finally called them again and they made me start the whole process over again... Long story short they referred me to LG who eventually referred me back to Best Buy only to have the people who promised me a replacement tell me that it was "out of their hands" and that I should go to the store. I will go to the store with all of my documentation including 3 phone call recordings of people promising me a replacement and 2 files of camera footage of their techs with my tv in the house.
The last four of my Best Buy Account Number is 8960
Correction: it was two phone call recordings of people promising a replacement not 3 (went back and listened to the recordings again - both were Best Buy Employees though). Also corrected the Date of experience to today... since today was apparently the last straw with them.

Didn't have the sony bravia tv I wanted to see on display. Only had the smaller and lower end model# to show. Kind of wasted my time, but it's still a great store for local electronics purchases.
I like to 100% see what I'm buying before I purchase it. Size model number and all.
You would think when you have budgeted $7000 for a top of the line television set, that the authorized dealers of these brands would at least have the displays up for showing before you swipe.
