This was the quickest car pick/up and drop experience I’ve ever had with a care rental company. The process was straightforward, cost was reasonable, and I even received a free upgrade. I will be back based on expediency alone!

The Avis rental location at 509 E Memorial was fantastic. The vehucle was good until we were on our trip and the fob stopped working. We were able to get the vehicle open and started to take it to another Avis location in Anaheim, CA where we were given a different vehicle instead if a simple battery change in the fob. It was an inconvenience because we had all of our luggage for 3 people while we were on vacation for 2 weeks. The man at the Avis counter in Anaheim seemed in a hurry and didn't go over the vehicle for scratches/dings, chips, etc, so I felt that he hurried us out of there. The vehicle we received was good as well except the tire pressure kept going low and the dash sensor kept digging that an oil change was needed soon. Dropping back off at the Oklahoma city location same as pick up was smooth and we received great customer service. I'll definitely use Avis again.

Car was just fine..., rented for a single day; however, the service was appalling. The female "manager" was rude, childish and insulting in her demeanor and attitude in response to my inquiring about what the daily rate change was, after the rental period was shortened. As a customer, you already overpay for standard car, you shouldn't have to pay for an attitude of a teenager. I'll never rent from this company again.

Do not rent from this location.We were giving a car that smelled entirely like weed. The man drove it out to us and didn’t even write it on the paper regarding the smell. We took the car not realizing how bad it really was. But over night the smell became unbearable.Of course the next 2 days were Christmas and they’re closed. We went to return it and they only want to give us a small discount rather than half the cost because we returned it after only half the rental period. Didn’t even apologize for not cleaning it properly and providing a car that is not suitable.Completely unprofessional. Accused us of only wanting a free vehicle when you can absolutely smell it. Worst customer service.

This location, due to it being a franchise doesn’t have a lost and found application on the main Avis website. When you call they say budget. Their system also does not have the ability to save your # after you return a rental. I went to pick up my personal property today after informing Taylor on Thursday of last week. He was off allegedly on Friday and I gave him two #’s which he wrote on the paper he printed as well as Don took two # on the previous Wednesday when booking the car. The agent I spoke to today said there is no number, then when I got there she stated the # didn’t work, and they gave me some one else’s key, on paper accidentally which also said there was no number. Come to find out there system doesn’t house your contact information and then after informing them of my property the failed to call but we’re dishonest once again.

DO NOT RESERVE FROM THIS LOCATION!! This is my first experience with Avis and will be my last. This location has Horrendous service, attitude, cleanliness and preparedness. I utilized my AARP card to receive a discount on a week long reservation. After dropping my car off for repairs at the dealership and taking their shuttle to this location, I was told they did not have anything available in the size I reserved. My options were a pickup truck … which is not an option due to the amount and size of items (that must be secured) for work … or I could pay more money for the next larger size. Don Hopper (President agency operator) was rude, disrespectful and could have cared less that I was stranded at their office. When I said this was their problem to fix, he slapped my license and credit card on the counter and said they would call me when they had a vehicle. I was floored and told him I would take the upgrade at the same price, and he said he would not do that … “I have given you the options”. I needed to get to work and he was unconcerned. I asked if they would be driving me to which he said “No”. I asked how he planned to resolve the situation and he stated again “I have given you your options.” This office was completely UNPREPARED, and offered nothing that was appropriate for what I needed. Finally, he tells me cars were due back, and PERHAPS, one of them would be available. I sat in the lobby waiting (stranded), was now late to work, and the car they eventually gave me was FILTHY, and had an overpowering smell of cat pee. I went inside to tell the other gentleman, and he came out and said he couldn’t smell anything (likely because he is used to the overpowering, offensive odor in their lobby). Every single seat in the vehicle had disgusting stains, dog slobber on the back door handle and arm rest, and I was told they had nothing to be able to get the stains out of the seats. Only because I was desperate for a vehicle, did I take it. I do not want to put myself, much less my child in this bacteria Petri dish. I filed a formal complaint with Avis corporate today, and was told I could go to any Avis location and exchange the car….which was a complete hassle. However, at the airport location, I encountered a very helpful young man, who not only apologized profusely, but upgraded my vehicle at no extra charge. My experience with the airport location was wonderful. Stay away from the Edmond location. It is a complete disaster and no accountability for their lack of preparedness. Evening Update: After reading all of the terrible reviews and how people were cheated out of money, I just checked my back account … for the entire week, the price is $360.11. I asked multiple times about the charges and Don, in a very condescending voice, tells me it is a total of 360.11 (if I bring the car back on time and with a full tank of gas). No problem. They charged my card $548.64!! Not one time did he say I would be charged substantially MORE than what we discussed. I will be calling first thing in the morning to file a second complaint. This is beyond ridiculous!

Very helpful out and then back in.Great car, great milage.Very helpful employees in the process. Extended rental time very easily. I have had difficulty extending with another rental company.Avis made it easy.

Katy and Matt were extremely helpful. There customer service was great!! They are located on the memorial edmond location. I generally use enterprise for rentals but moving forward I will definitely use this location again.

Everything was perfect. Katy Khan the manager at this location is super helpful and explained everything to us in detail. The car was clean and comfortable. I got to the location a bit later than the scheduled time and they were able to hold the car for us. The return process was seamless as well.

Booking on line was fast and easy. The discount was amazing and the Amazon gift card was a super bonus. Avis definitely beats the competitors! Very pleased with Avis car rental and will be using as my go to whenever I need a car rental!

Avis rented us a car which ended up having a flat tire halfway through our trip. We called and they said they'd send a tow truck to pick it up, with no mention of an additional charge. They charged us an extra day and then a month later they charged us again for the tow which ended up being and additional $290. The rental ended up costing us 4x what it should have. We called and they were completely unwilling to resolve this in a way make us ever want to be an Avis customer again.

Hello 2 All,We used Avis Car Rental for a family vacation trip.We have used them twice for this.They have had a very nice ride for us each time.Barely any miles on the rides, basically new.Highly Recommended.Thanks 4 Your Time,ANTHONYTHEONE
