Honestly awful, workers were walking around the store buying stuff yelling also yelling about their husband etc. then finally a girl came to check me out opened the safe in front of me complained on having no fives gave me all ones afterwards was throwing a ball back and fourth

The store is usually pretty well stocked, but understaffed, so if you need assistance with finding stuff so night time is not best time to go.

Tried to call the store on numerous occasions and never get a answer, and the few times I've been in the store I've had to personally hunt down the staff to get checked out. Very unprofessional

Its strange this DG is nicer than others, store seems disorganized. Some shelves have nothing others are crammed with items. I feel congested walking thru narrow aisles. This is just me tho

Big sign on door says masks are required to enter but hardly anyone does, including employees, and nobody enforces the rule like Wal-Mart. I don't want to die because somebody breathed the virus on my clothes.

Made a quick stop to grab a few things, the customer in front of me was struggling with the self check out because it was broken, there was no human cashier so after looking around and seeing no employee in sight we happened to notice a small football which had a sign stating squeeze for assistance. After squeezing the ball multiple times, a few minutes later an employee finally came to aid the lady with the self check out. Then looking visibly annoyed and rolling his eyes he threw his hand up and motioned for the next in line, I stepped forward placing my items on the counter and thanked him for coming to our aid, attempting to lighten the mood, I paid, thanked him again, but through the entire interaction he never once looked up at anyone or even said a single word.. So glad I'm not a local and that the folks at my Dollar General are polite and possess basic customer service skills. It's been proven that it takes more muscles to frown than to smile

Their card machine wouldn't work with my card even though it worked fine at the gas station when I left there. I told her to give me a minute to run out and get my phone to charge enough to turn on and I'd pay with my phone. She checks out the next person and locks the door behind them without even poking her head out and asking if I was coming back in to get my cart full of things. I get my phone on and go to the door, see her walking back towards the front until she sees me and hears me knock and turns around and walks back to the back. I would almost understand if it were MY fault that my card didn't work, but it worked just fine before and after this.
