I would recommend this Walgreens, specifically the pharmacy, to anyone who wants to have a frustrating, incompetent, and rude experience that takes a long time.

Went up to the counter and store associate Gema and whom I believe is the manager were talking which is fine. He tells her she has a customer to help and he walks away. She then proceeds to not help me but scroll through the photos computer (I used to work at walgreens) I knownfor a fact she wasnt doing anything that had to be done before helping the front counter. After minute she walks up to the counter scans my items and while I'm paying and trying to talk to her she has her phone out scrolling through that. Rudely shoves the receipt at ne.

If I could give this place a negative star I would, their pharmacy thinks their doctors and can judge who needs what medication. Not to mention they tried to tell me I was just being a “white Karen” and I’m not even white. I suggest staying clear no matter what race you are.

I'm new to Norman and needed to have some prescriptions refilled. Before transferring the scripts I decided to check online reviews. This Walgreens had scored only 1 star so I was hesitant to use it, but I decided to give it a try since it was the closest Walgreens to me. Once I managed (finally!) to transfer the prescriptions (that process was seamless a couple of years ago, but certainly didn't seem very seamless last night) everything went through like a breeze. I specified a pickup time for today. Probably one hour before the specified time, I received a notification that my prescriptions were ready. On arrival, there was only one car ahead of me. It pulled off just about the moment I pulled in behind it. A clerk came to the window before I could ring the call button. She quickly found my prescriptions. My old address was in their system and she kindly asked if f she could update it for me. I was very impressed with the service I received. It was LOADS BETTER than what I had been experiencing at 2 out of 3 Walgreens pharmacies I have used the last couple of years in Tulsa. I do suspect Walgreens is having problems keeping pharmacists and maybe other staff as well.

This has got to be the absolute worst pharmacy for customer service. Got here to pick up script 45 min ago. In line for drive thru pick up when someone cut me off. ( line was beyond drive so was trying not to block drive). So parked, went in, walked to back corner only to find indoor pharmacy closed. Drive thru only! Got back in car and 45 min later still 2 cars in front of me! I am thoroughly angry to put it in acceptable terms! I hate this pharmacy. I am picking up meds for someone besides myself. I personally changed pharmacies for this lack of customer service!

Awful experience. They have under trained staff in store. Two of them tried to find my insurance information and they failed and without a further try they told me that your insurance without telling you changed your policy number. Then their supervisor came and in seconds he was able to find my insurance. It took from 11:15 AM to 1:30 PM from them to give me my shot!!!!! If you want to book an appointment here be prepared for hours long unnecessary stay and bring snacks and a book to read :(The silver lining was they did not even know my vaccine comes in how many shot and each time they throw a number. That is SAD for Walgreen, it used to be a respectable brand...

The pharmacy on this location has been closed on multiple occasions. This issue has caused delays in me getting my medication because i've had to transfer them to other pharmacies. Walgreens is an embarrassment.

I love waiting 30-40 mins in the pharmacy drive thru after work every single time I need a prescription. I have absolutely nothing better to do. I don’t know why I even bother with the drive thru anymore, parking and going in is SO MUCH FASTER. Do yourself a favor and use a different pharmacy if you don’t like to waste your time, energy and gas in a pharmacy drive thru.**Update 2 years later** they still absolutely suck. Came here for a vaccine appt because the better Walgreens on Main isn’t doing them right now. Even with an appt and completing required documentation online, you have to complete paper forms and wait 30 mins past your appt time behind everyone else. I have no idea why this location is HUGELY worse than the Main St location, and the Main location isn’t even good ? I wish my insurance worked with CVS.

Went for a COVID shot and after a while, they said they couldn't. As a Veteran, was told that we could go there and get our shots. NOT TRUE. Wanted insurance. Said my VA card with 100% disability is my insurance. But they couldn't or wouldn't do it. Walgreens isn't alone. Had the same problem with CVS..!

Waited on hold for THIRTY minutes just to refill a prescription... didn't have the script number. Took them seconds to do it when they finally answered. Said they were doing 80 shots.... why are you scheduling so many shots and putting your other customers on hold for 30 minutes? Horrible service here all the time. Calling walgreens corporate.

Scheduled our flu shots online three days in advance. Arrived at the specified time. Had to stand in line with everyone who just walked in. No line for appointments. Finally got to the register, already had our paperwork filled out online, and was told there was a twenty minute wait, three people were in front of us. I told the we had an appointment. They said the people in front of us had appointments, too, and had been waiting almost 30 minutes past their appointments. We left.
