Walgreens as a chain, as a company, is generally bad. They train their employees to harass and bully. However, I have had positive experiences with the employees at this location. My only complaint is that they have no care for patient privacy, because they shout your prescription name out without a care in the world, especially if you go to the drive thru. I'm sure it was how they were trained...

Management failure, I'm sure the pharmacy personnel are doing their best. This location is one of the only 24/7 pharmacies in the area, it always seems to be swamped. I was on track to get prescriptions filled in a 2 day timeframe. App gets updated with in progress, but stayed that way overnight. Called and was told it would be ready tomorrow. Not helpful for trying to get healthy and back to work if I'm waiting 2 days just to get 2 prescriptions.
Updated 6/16/24- raised review from 1 to 5. We've had better experiences that last few months, it seems like backlog has cleared up. Staff was pleasant as always. They seem to have improved, so only fair my review reflects that improvement.

Picking up prescriptions here is a nightmare! Second car in the drive thru…23min to just get to the window….another 28 min waiting on one prescription that was ready….hire more help!! Will definitely be transferring my prescriptions! Btw inside line was just as bad

Perilously close to the longest drive up I've ever encountered. These folks are overwhelmed.

Nothing special, it’s just a normal Walgreens. HOWEVER, I did NOT come here to fill or pickup a Rx…I also would NOT get my Rx sent here. There were at least 15 cars in the drive thru. I was there to grab something from inside right quick.

It’s too bad we can’t give this place zero stars. They are worse than worthless. They’re unhelpful, the hold times are ridiculously long, and they are extremely rude once they finally do answer the phone. The only reason that they are still in business is that they are open 24 hours a day.

I DREAD having to come pick up my prescriptions from their drive through because I'll be there for a minimum of 30-40 minutes and they won't have all of them ready when I get in front - despite two back-to-back calls from Walgreens that they were ready. one line will run 4x quicker than the other - you just have to be in the "lucky" line or you wait an extra 30 minutes.

INEFFICIENT.
This pharmacy always seems to have WAITING problem.
Always Keeps you waiting… ALWAYS…wether that be getting the prescription ready, or picking at the counter. Always gives excuses for keeping patients waiting. Some technicians are great! But the management is worst…
Been waiting for antibiotic for my 2 years old, it has been 20 hrs… every time you call, the call goes to a call center in other state (Florida) and never gets transferred to the store when asked to check the status.
The automatic system doesn’t give you enough information.

Pharmacists are fine, but Walgreens bought up all the competitors in our town, and made every Walgreens in town close at 10 instead of 24hr, now there’s only one 24hr location left, and it’s packed ALL the time. Ioathe this company.

The only good thing about this pharmacy is it’s 24 hours, but it’s constantly understaffed and short on medicines. Drive through is slow. They take forever to answer the phone. It’s very normal to be sitting on hold for 30+ minutes waiting for a technician. And recently, they’ve been doing partial fills without even notifying me they had to do it. Anything you do here, you should plan for an hour at least and multiple visits to get things done.

After 20 years of using Walgreens for my family's prescriptions, I am done. The location in Norman on Flood/Main has been going downhill the last few years. It now takes between 20-30 minutes to call and get to a human. Walgreens staff gives estimates that end up taking 3 times as long (this week I was told my meds would be ready in an hour, I went after 2 hours and waited an additional 45 minutes to get my medicine. The drive through wait is ridiculous. It regularly takes between 45 minutes to an hour to get through the drive through line to pick up medicine. Virtually every time I fill prescriptions, something is out of stock and I end up waiting days for my needed medication. Get it together. Hire more pharmacy staff. But we won't be coming back.
