I had no complaints before this last year, but every month I think, I have to find a better pharmacy. Well this last "attempt" yesterday was final straw. Walgreens on 12th n Alameda received my script by 9am. I give them 6 hrs before I even call to see if you had received it +/or will it be filled today, the actual refill date has been changing like the weather, I spoke with a tech around 1pm, I was told >t would be filled by 5pm, I waited til appx 6pm, it takes 20 minutes to actually get to the window at 7 n Im told you need another 20-30 min to have it ready.... I go back thru the line , took another 35 minutes to get to the window where I am told that I CAN NOT get it today because a room full of suits who still have their tooth fairy money, are WAY MORE INVOLVED N INFORMED WITH MY MEDS THAN MY DOCTOR AND THE PHARMACISTS !! I WILL NOT TAKE ANOTHER SCRIPT TO WALGREENS WILL SHARE MY STORY TO WHOEVER WILL LISTEN. "BIG PHARMA" time in charge IS OVER

1 HOUR AND 45 MIN ON HOLD FOR A PRESCRIPTION STATUS.Plain horrible. They messed up my prescription 5 times in a 6-month period. They didn't use my insurance on the first 3 refills until I checked my insurance plan and asked walgreens why it is 45$ it supposed to be 5$.Just use some other pharmacy. At this rate, your local illegal drug dealer will give you a better service vs. this walgreens location.

My mother and I went to this Walgreens for Covid Vaccine. I made appointment on line and when we got there it all went so smooth and the workers in this store where the nicest and friendliest people. Totally recommend this store!!!

Went for a COVID shot and after a while, they said they couldn't. As a Veteran, was told that we could go there and get our shots. NOT TRUE. Wanted insurance. Said my VA card with 100% disability is my insurance. But they couldn't or wouldn't do it. Walgreens isn't alone. Had the same problem with CVS..!

I get that working at Walgreens might not be the highlight of anyone’s career, but there are a couple of truly miserable, rude employees at this location who should not be customer-facing.

I have never seen a pharmacy with so many people working but huge lines inside and outside of the store. Many of the employees did not seem to know what they were doing. I tried to do a COVID test. After working for half an hour at the drive-thru, they said my insurance did not have the correct birth date for me. I have had this insurance for several years and never had this problem. Do not go there.

After calling several times to try and get a hold of an individual at the location, I finally got in touch with a representative who immediately transferred me to a manager. However, I am absolutely disgusted on how I was treated over the phone by the "manager". Handled my question in an extremely rude manner with no sympathy for a mistake that was their fault. Beware of this location.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this Walgreen's pharmacy is so disorganized if you go there for any kind of vaccinations. Scheduling a vaccination appointment online means nothing, because you will wait 30 to 45 min for your shot, and this is due to the pharmacist being unable to detach himself from filling prescriptions for people who are not there waiting, in order to honor your designated appointment time, and you are indeed waiting. It matters not. He will make you wait. Yesterday was my last time to go there. Nothing has changed. Same experience for the last 2.5 years.

Generally the staff are really nice and professional. The pharmacy is pretty busy. Was really not impressed that the pharm tech looked like she hadn't showered in weeks and had dirty fingernails which doesn't seem safe for handling pharmaceuticals. Wish they would require basic hygiene for this job.

Awful people work here. They hate their job and are rude to sick people. I tried going here once instead of a local pharmacy and it was awful! Find a local pharmacy so much better!

THEY ARE LAZY. It is federally protected for the pharmacy to contact insurance about a denied script. My daughter has RSV. She is sick but keeping her home on medication is better than in the hospital. She needed a steroid to clear her lungs but our dog chewed it up. Doesn’t take away she still needs this medication. So they charged me “discounted price” which I did not know. Apparently 80$ is discounted price and it should have been less than 20$ but they aren’t able to fix it because THEY MESSED IT UP. So I’m stuck with this bill and they do not care. THE PHARMACY TECH WAS UNPROFESSIONAL. She told me “paying this is better than taking her to the hospital”. It’s actually not. My hospital copay is actually cheaper. But do I want her exposed to more? No. I’m disappointed at how sad and how my family has to hurt because they were too lazy to get an override code.
