They don't even have an outdoor rec!??? You can tell the quality of the university by their recreation program. I feel sorry for all the kids going to uni in Oklahoma. They don't know how much they have been missing.

The summer hours are too short. How can you close the gym at 6:30 pm??? The gym at Kansas State University is open from 6 am to 9 pm during summer and they are a much smaller university than OU.

First off, apparently the institution does not have enough by milking us students paying an absurd amount of money for tuition and fees for the semester. On top of that they make us pay for using the gym during the summer. With that being said, a group of friends and I showed up to play basketball during the summer and we got kicked out off the court even though no one was using it because a cheer camp paid to rent all the courts even though they weren’t using it. Keep in mind like I said before, I paid a membership to come play basketball but because the cheer camp paid more money than me they get to dictate who is allowed to use the courts. This is completely not fair.. They said they have had this problem for the last 30 year yet they have not done anything to address the issue. There’s no other place for us students to play pick up basketball. Makes you really question what is the purpose of the institution. Do they really care about the students? or do they care about bringing in the money to fill their pockets? I have other friends who attend other universities and they are provided with resources to play basketball. OU you need to do something about it. Sadly i doubt they will listen to our voices, we are like insignificant little ants to them.

Facility with corrupt profit scheme. Overpriced as well. Would not recommend.

Good place to lift. It has enough weights, sometimes it gets crowded. Need to fix the broken machines and can increase the borrowables to include wall climbing shoes. I believe it needs expansion at least 30% more space for miscellaneous activities.

Staff needs to communicate better amongst themselves. My friends and I kept getting told different things by different people each time we would go. There’s also at least 2-3 machines that are broken.

Need a student ID to enter. Has a lot of cool stuff. Indoor walking track, climbing wall, and 2 floors worth of machines and a freeweight room.

This gym is very nice. Just was here a couple weeks ago for my daughter's cheer camp there. Clean and air conditioning worked great.

The hours are not consistent and they change frequently. It makes me wonder if the management even cares about people like me who depend on this gym.

I want this to be an excellent facility and I use it regularly because it is convenient. It just doesn't meet the standards of comparison to for profit options. The equipment is worn and the environment is not energizing.

The gym is nice, but the timings kinda suck. You'd go there someday just to find the entrance is locked and nobody's there.
