Terrible service from a woman of color, not at all helpful and looking like she doesn't want to work

Wendy was super kind and helpful, and Ro was a delight. Store was bright, clean, organized, and well-stocked. I know where I'm going for my hair care from now on!

Today at 5:00PM we went to pick up some items and the lady that works there was RUDE! We put our products back and walked out! She can keep her attitude and the products! We then went to the Alameda location and had a good experience.

I bought some shampoo, conditioner and crunchless gel about a week ago and was informed by the lady helping me, that I could bring it back if I didn’t like the product. My hair is extremely thick and curly. I have a hard time finding products for my hair type that works. As soon as I used the shampoo I felt all the moisture leave my hair (moisture is my biggest problem) thinking to me myself please don’t let the conditioner be like this also. It was so upsetting. My curls were frizzy and dried out before I put the gel in. My friend is a professional hairdresser and informed not to use those products on my hair. I returned to the store to return the products and get something that I know will actually work for my hair type. As soon as I walked into Sally’s, the lady behind the counter just gives me this dirty look no greeting, and when I state “I would like to return these.” She turns to the lady (that she is training) and rolls her eyes and then grilled and argued with me about why I am bring these back and no one’s has brought these products back. Everyone loves it and I don’t know what I am talking about and I don’t have curly hair. As soon as I walk off to go find a nail file they are at the counter talking about how “she knows hair” well apparently not mine. I have never met this woman in my life and she is trying to tell me how MY hair is. Then she precedes to tell me that the products I did pick is junk and has been bought out and I should stock up. I know for a fact these are great for my hair. I have never been so discouraged about ever going to this establishment.

The lady was snooty with me when I was trying to smell the dry shampoo cans to see if they were a fit, like you do, and told me I wasn't supposed to spray them in the store. I just decided not to get any from this Sally's. I recommend going to a different one, since she's the only worker I've seen in there. She didn't even want to be there, and that's the atmosphere it has.

Was there to find some gray reducing dye. I ask the whole staff standing together. No one said anything at first. Finally one girl said here is all our hair dye. Showed me nothing I ask for help with. Staff just not knowledgeable at all. I went home research what I needed bought it at Target. That’s my last trip to Sally’s

I came in with my Husband and out our kids, to find a blow dryer. The girl without asking me what I was looking for in a dryer immediately directed me to the most expensive one. It’s not that it the most expensive, but it didn’t have the attachments I was looking for. I immediately told her I’m looking for specific comb attachments., i.e for ethnic hair. My husband said that the other worker looked at us while I was talking to that worker and shook her head. Most likely because we are an interracial family. Then she kept, asking if I was okay, but only as if I was going to run off with something. My final straw was when I opened a box, that had ALREADY been opened, to see if the end would fit a universal attachment that they didn’t even know they had. And the lady ran up and was like can I help you, rudely. I said,” I just wanted to see if it would fit the attachment.” She the. Said no and pointed at the brand. I then mentioned we’ll it’s universal, I just wanted to make sure it fits. She was like, then yes.I then left and went to Ulta and spent 3X the amount. I’ll pay extra for service any day.

I had walked in 5 minutes before 7 to grab some “no more bite” and some purple polish for my daughter. She is two and wanted to match mine so I was trying to find the closest color! I finally found two that were close and I was just looking at which to choose not realizing the store hours were close at 7, that is until the lady working clapped her hands at me and another customer and said, “okay ladies were closed grab your things and get out.” I have NEVER had a bad experience here so I just shook it off, then the employee wouldn’t take my phone number, didn’t say a single word to me except, “$12.48” and “goodbye.” She was new because I’m in frequently and have never seen her, but as long as she is on the clock I will NOT shop here. Customer service is how you keep your customers coming back and Sally’s has never failed me in that department until this day. ):
