They took my negative review down, so if that doesn’t speak volumes, I don’t know what does!

Republic was so much better. This place just took the last bit of money out of my account. I have not used it in awhile. They took the money back in March and April of 2021, its now june of 2021 and I just got a letter letting me know that they took money out, and added a service fee on top of it. Now I have 0 dollars. They add charges without telling you. I was never notified that my account would be charged and to then find they closed my account due to no funds. The app sucks because it is always kicking you off and you have to put all your information in it each time, to get into the account.I wouldn't recommend to use this bank! Many hidden fees

I cannot stand Armstrong Bank. Ever since Republic was bought out Armstrong, I've had to deal with rude tellers. They are the most unhelpful bank. I am changing banks. I've had enough! I recommend that people avoid them at all costs. ANY OTHER bank is better.

Frustrating is an appropriate term. The drive thru wait times are unreal. Today, I arrived for what I thought would be a simple task. I've been waiting in the drive thru lane now for 14 minutes, and the same group of cars are still here that were here when I arrived. I liked it a lot better when this was still republic. Either have more staff readily available to assist when drive thru volume is heavy, or try something different. Incredibly inefficient practice.

I had been with Republic bank for over 10 years, then I got notification that republic was merged (bought out) by Armstrong and I read the welcome packet and it was made to sound like they would be the same family owned business. I was able to smoothly change my phone app over but that was the only thing that went right. I did build relationships with my previous banks who knew my banking habits and all that went out the window. I can't call the main branch in Norman or my local branch by my house without hassle. All the people were replaced. The hours changed which may not be much to some but staying open until 7 saved me many times after a long work day. No longer can I go inside on Saturday. The tellers are all young and mostly friendly but not knowledgeable and several practices have changed. One teller in particular is rude every time. None of the management says hi or acknowledges the presence on walk-in clients. My old loan officer no longer calls me which was a privilege I had built up and I miss. I have begun looking for another bank but almost all the banks I have looked at are similar. No personal touch. Lack of care of concern, we are just numbers. I used to get personally written cards from the republic tellers and from this I had interacted with for loans etc. I have 2 accounts, 1of my teenagers has a checking savings account and my other 2 have savings accounts my ex husband even does business with them and I have done approximately 9 loans with them in the last decade. I don't have a lot of money but I am highly disappointed in this changeover. The worst is having to talk to a call center instead of local people, which is what made me really decide to look elsewhere. New clients may like Armstrong as they do have a savvy nice app and are geared to the 20's crowd of fast, I want it now and move on but I personally prefer a more personal experience with those who have my money.

Can't get anyone to answer the phone. I've called the local 405 and 888 numbers and the first thing I hear is "we are experiencing unusually high call volumes". Even if dummies are calling about their stimulus checks, which they should use the check tracker, it shouldn't be continously busy from open to close every day. This never happened when I would call republic

Armstrong Bank bought out Republic Bank. Have had nothing but problems since the buyout. Changed my online username with no notification. Website crashed when stimulous checks went out. On hold for HOURS to get help with issues they caused that had NOTHING to do with the stimulous check. Said they didn't have enough servers to handle the volume. Asked if they were going to get more servers and they said no, this issue will resolve itself once everyone gets their stimulous check. In other words, we couldn't care less about the inconvenience to you. Went on line to send a payment and received a popup message asking me if I wanted to send payments automatically. I already had that set up through RBT. I clicked yes. So it eliminated EVERY auto pay that I had already set up through RBT. Now I have to re-enter all of that information manually. Just tried to get into my account on line again and got an error message that said my entry was wrong. I assumed it was the password (which I knew was correct) so I tried to change it. They send a code to you via text which you have to enter to change the password. They sent the code to a phone number that hasn't been valid in over a year. When I called, was told the username was wrong. They had hanged my username yet again. Once I got everything fixed they asked if there was anything else they could help me with. I said yes, would you please reinstate all of my auto billpay information. Was told they don't still have that information and that I'll have to do it manually. I asked why they could pull out a phone number that hasn't been used in over a year but they can't get to my auto pay information that was just deleated last month. DO NOT USE THIS BANK - YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!

I have never been more disappointed in what once was a great banking institution. They have proven themselves woefully unable to properly handle the merger, stimulus checks, and the COVID-19 crisis as a whole. I would not advise anyone to open an account with Armstrong, and I suspect that they will lose a lot of exisiting customers such as myself. I was with Republic for over 10 years, but I will be leaving Armstrong bank as soon as possible.

DONT BANK HERE PERIOD! Lady at this bank told me they couldn't allow me to use my debit card on my checking account which had 2,000 dollars in it. They said I was only allowed to withdraw cash and make deposits since I dont jave track record with them. After 90 days if my account being open they would allow me to use my debit card.

I have been with this bank for YEARS. I Normally have great experiences with them. However this last experience has my stopping my direct deposit with them until I can find the time to go into the branch and shut this account DOWN.
