I originally gave this location and business a 5 star roughly a year ago. If you're looking for a great workout and and good atmosphere, I 10/10 recommend. Coaches and staff are great. Prices are a bit high but to be honest if you love it they are worth it. I'm giving them a 2 star review now because of the grey way in which they conduct business. They have a 30 day cancellation policy. I was told to call and cancel before my next billing, I did. I had to put my account on pause previously for medical reasons (also why I had to cancel) and apparently when they did this they changed my billing date (though it had not been changed on last pause). Long story short they billed me TWICE after cancellation. I should have been billed ONCE. They stated 30 day clause even though I have paperwork and phone records to back me up. Then they stated that my billing date had actually moved due to pause. I had to ask for cancellation forms on the docu-sign multiple times. I first spoke to them on the 8th. I was able to sign paperwork on the 11th via email after I had to reach out and ask for documents multiple times. Hard to believe they didn't intentionally drag feet for the purpose of getting another month's pay out of it. Had planned on going back after cleared but I would rather give my money to a gym I like less but that values their customers a little more and doesn't play games. I had read other reviews similar to this but I honestly didn't expect this. My fault. Great coaches and program. Business side of things lack a bit of integrity in my experience.

I had the unfortunate experience of joining Orange Theory in Norman, OK, and it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My entire experience with this studio was marked by incompetence, negligence, and the rudest customer service I have ever encountered, courtesy of the manager, Amber.First and foremost, the studio completely botched my cancellation process. I submitted my cancellation papers in person, as instructed, almost 9 months ago, only to discover that they had never been processed. As a result, my grandmother's credit card was continuously charged without our knowledge or consent. This level of irresponsibility and lack of attention to detail is simply unacceptable. When I finally realized the ongoing charges, I called the studio seeking assistance and resolution. Little did I know that the manager, Amber, would prove to be the epitome of rudeness and unprofessionalism. Instead of displaying any empathy or willingness to rectify their mistake, she immediately adopted a confrontational and hostile attitude.Amber went as far as threatening me with a cancellation fee, even though it was their fault that my cancellation was mishandled in the first place. She showed no regard for customer satisfaction and flatly refused to even talk calmly about refunding the erroneously charged amount, despite their obvious wrongdoing. It's shocking that she had the audacity to deny me access to corporate contact information, claiming that I would only "waste their time." She also talked over me every time I opened my mouth and begged her to be nice to me. This studio's complete lack of accountability and their manager's disgraceful behavior are utterly unacceptable. Not only did they fail to process my cancellation properly, leading to months of unauthorized charges, but they also exhibited a complete disregard for customer service and satisfaction.I strongly advise anyone considering Orange Theory in Norman, OK, to think twice before becoming a member. This establishment clearly lacks the competence and professionalism needed to uphold their end of the customer-business relationship. Save yourself the trouble, frustration, and financial headache by choosing a different fitness studio with a more customer-oriented approach.

I have been an OTF member for 3 months now and have enjoyed it. I feel like the staff is helpful and kind and the coaches are great (varying personalities/teaching style - so I suggest trying everyone a few times to find who fits your style best). Studio is always very clean. An observation I have that could be viewed as a negative for some is that there are a bunch of college students from OU who attend the classes - so sometimes the classes fill up more than you'd expect. But that's life in any college town... Coming in as a plus size and out of shape person I was extremely intimidated because everyone I knew who took classes were very in-shape. While there are not a ton of plus size members, I've never felt uncomfortable being there. Coaches are always available to give you modified moves if your body isn't capable. I love the Lift classes the most - by far my favorites. My suggestion for someone wanting to try OTF in general (not just the Norman location) is to give it a shot. The music will be loud, and the heart rate monitor/splat points/etc. will be hard to follow at first. But that gets easier after 2 or 3 classes. If you are new to working out, I suggest staying after the first few classes to talk with a coach (there will probably be a sales pitch in there) and have them go over any questions you may have about the workout, form, or what information the heart rate monitor is tracking. Also, OTF can be very competitive: everyone's heart rate and calories burned are on a monitor that anyone in class can see, and it is very easy to look at the person next to you and feel ashamed for not running/rowing/lifting as much. I had to give myself the internal talk that our bodies are not the same (etc. etc.) and once I realized I could do things at my own pace, I felt less intimidated overall.

I'm gonna be honest. Joining a gym is super intimidating. I mean for me anyway. I contemplated it for awhile. Luckily for me it's .2 miles away from me. I literally walk there. First class was free. Tbh I think I actually got three free classes because I was unsure on joining a took my time. I'm glad I did though. The instructors are so nice, and go out of their way to meet you at your level. They have plenty of classes and I never felt crowded. I always feel like the instructors are attentive and encouraging. I don't dread going either. That's a big deal for me. If I don't like it eventually, I'm going to stop going. I been a regular here for several months and for me... that's huge.

Work outs are challenging, varied and balanced. The coaches help make sure you use the right form to avoid injury. The staff, especially Darian, has been very helpful in scheduling classes.

Love me some OTF! The staff and coaches make it fun when you have those days you don't want to be there that's for sure. Plus I've noticed that certain areas of my fitness are improving dramatically which is great at my age. Would love to see a session of "chat with a coach" to get some theory behind Orange Theory and how to use the gym and nutrition to achieve even more goals. I've had other programs where it was an all inclusive science and I'd love to see OTF take it all to the next level! But the Norman gym is awesome, staff and coaches are awesome too!

Love my OTF family! The coaches keep us motivated and always make the workouts fun - even burpees. Also love the cross training you get with treadmills rowing and weights. OTF takes cleanliness seriously and goes out of their way to take care of their clients.

It is ridiculous of what it took to cancel my membership to begin with... they are impossible to get a hold of or a manager - leave a message is the strategy w/o ever calling you back. Even after going in person manager still didn't get a message to call me back!?! They asked me to provide my medical record as a catalyst to even be able to cancel my membership... that sure violates HIPAA regulations. So after 2 months of OTF being unresponsive and finally getting a hold of a manager I was able to Docu-sign my cancellation. After cancellation I kept being charged 4 more months of membership ($700). Had to cancel auto draft w the bank - doubt I'll ever see my $ ... #scam
