I have been to some pretty bad dollar stores but the customer service of this one is just horrible there is a bitter old lady with glasses and a ponytail that is just rude as hell and then goes sit and smokes in her white and black bronco and starts unnecessary drama with ppl in the parking lot . Was a paying customer who let his dog out to get some air while he organized the things in his vehicle for the dog and she says sir how long will this take you you need to leave he wasn't there that long at all she continued to trash talk him then when he responded with what is ur problem she got all dramatic and made sure everyone knew she was calling the police now even tho the man was already in his vehicle to leave and pulling off I'm just guessing the police have real emergencies to deal with and not made up stories from the bitter DG worker. I was here the other day as well and went to buy some cigarettes I forgot my ID in car I just asked the younger girl do I need my ID she said wait one sec came back said yes sorry but so had to see my ID I said okay thats cool I'll just buy the rest of my items and I'll bring my ID back in was no big deal then here comes the bitter old lady with the pony tail very aggressively tells me we got rent to pay and mouths to feed we aren't gonna get fired because you don't wanna bring ur ID with you. 1st off i wasn't upset at all about it I thought me and the younger girl were good and agreed I'd just run back in with my ID if I hadn't left it at my house so why This rude lady made it her priority to come out running her mouth to me when I wasnt causing any problems or even talking about it anymore idk I feel like she definitely escalates issues instead of deescalating problems. It seems like most the workers there lack sense of humor and seem to be very unhappy with their jobs there and it definitely shows and makes customers feel awkward and uncomfortable. Won't be going back to this one again I'd rather drive extra 15 min for better customers service oh and I think it was a blessing I left my ID at home that day cuz when I walked out bitter lady was still running her mouth and I know when I wld have went back in ot wld have been a confrontation because that woman doesn't stop I saw that today she is not only like that with me but lots of ppl
One last thing was a woman and her kids looking in the dumpster and she went out of her way to get ppl to hear her so she cld embarrass the mother and kids then she continued to talk down to this family as they were walking away without saying anything back to her. It's sad if your that unhappy with ur job get a new one but there is no reason to take it out on customers who have done nothing wrong .

Maybe 4 or 5 stars if they could stay open until 10 honestly makes me not even wanna shop at dollar general a whole hour apparently just out of the question. Inconsistent comparing to the times of other said stores. Makes you wonder what other inconsistencies ongoing there not trying to find out ?♂️ pretty good reason most stores share a closing time . Not sure why Doller General should have customers learn what store closes at what time I guess it's a non issue to the company and consistency is not a priority is totally noted

Honestly, For it being close to a lake and close to a few housing additions and the city its not a bad dollar general. Somewhat decent stock, i won't lie that can be improved but that's to be expected with DG. As for the Employees, love them fast and friendly. 100/10. Thumbs Up forever.

I live in a rural area. Dollar general is close and prices are not bad. The employees are always friendly.
