I can’t say enough good things about Tim and the team. Brought in a 03 Silverado SS that only ran correctly on the drive home, when I purchased it three years ago. It saw a number of shops and wasn’t running at all when I got it to Deep Stage. They got it running within the week then worked out the kinks and tuned it in the week or so after that. Everything they discovered was clearly communicated by Tim and explained very well. Yesterday I was able to drive that truck home without any issues and I couldn’t be happier. Moving forward, Deep Stage will be my first call for anything I need.

Tim is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to tuning. I stopped in one day to talk to tim and ask about tuning prices, time frame, etc. He happened to have a cancelation the next day and I was able to get in to the shop right away. There was an issue with my vehicle, completely unrelated to Tim, and we had to reschedule.
Tim again got me in very quickly, as soon as I got back in to town from work. I came from a much higher elevation, coupled with a not so great previous tune, and needless to say, my car was running pretty poorly.
Tim took the time to explain every aspect of what he was doing, and what he would have done differently and did differently from the previous "tune".
We went out on several street tests to get the car dialed in, And I can honestly say that I see a night and day difference in how it was running compared to how it is running now. The driveability is so much better.
I look forward to doing more business with Tim in the near future.

Quick turn around and great pricing on a long tube header and tune install for my z06. Very professional and Tim took the time to walk me through all the steps and breakdown on the tune as well a ride after to make sure I was happy with the driveability. Definitely recommend and will be going back for more work in the future.

Tim Gamble is an LS Wizard!
The review is well overdue. So, I took my car to Tim about a year ago. After I had some work done by a so-called "reputable" shop, the car wasn't running right, and I was blowing through O2 sensors like they were going out of style. So, I was recommended to try Tim's shop. Right away, when I called Tim, the customer service was top-tier. He treated me like he genuinely cared about my concerns and wasn't irritated with me asking questions and wanting to learn. When I took the car in, he sat me down and went over the parameters of my tune and taught me what was wrong and what it should look like (my car was running rich as hell). Overall, he was able to fix all the errors the last shop just threw together, and through the test drive, I fell in love with my car all over again. I really can't recommend his shop enough. Talk about an honest, welcoming guy; my only problem is he was Army and not Air Force, lol.

Honest and very fair, great family and surgically clean facility. Most professional and totally knowledgeable. Troubleshooting experts fixing others mistakes and not up to par installations. Nothing scares them.

I dropped off my dream car with Tim and I didn’t know that it could get dreamier. I am so incredibly with the results that Tim and his team produced. Their professionalism, knowledge, and timeliness is well worth it and more. I can’t imagine going to someone else for tuning and upgrades. The pricing was very fair as well and I would’ve gladly paid more for the product I received back.

Tim is an excellent mechanic and he knows his field of expertise. He was recommended to me by my brother and has never let me down. He was able to handle something as simple as an oil change efficiently, competently, and with competitive pricing. He had betting pricing than Jiffy Lube and didn’t try to charge me extra for things my car doesn’t need! Overall it was a great experience, excellent service, and I would recommend Tim and Deep Stage Tuning & Performance to anyone looking to improve their car, or just needing something simple like an oil change. Outstanding quality with zero issues.

I discovered this place a few years ago after having issues with the work quality of dealerships and other mechanics. I’m so thankful that I did. I’ve never met a mechanic that is more straightforward, professional, meticulous, or knowledgable than Tim. I’ve had extensive work done on my 06 Escalade and 05 Avalanche over the years including a street tune on both and they run better than they ever have. I’ve switched to using him for all of my regular maintenance, because Tim does it right the first time and his pricing often beats the dealerships. As a commercial pilot and aircraft owner, Tim is the only mechanic I’ve met that is as meticulous with cars as I have to be with the maintenance on my airplane. For that reason and many others, I will continue to use him for all of my vehicle maintenance needs and would advise anyone else to do the same.

I took my car to Tim in 2020 to get tuned after i installed a procharger! I brought it on a trailor and dropped it off at 10 am as soon as he opened at his old shop off tecumseh! He called me while I was at work and said he had bad news and said it probably spun a bearing on the dyno because while he had it on the dyno he looked down and it had zero oil pressure so he shut it off! When i got there to get my car To my surprise when I showed up to get it! The bill was $550! I asked why was it $550 and he said "thats how much a tune is"! This is when I asked "well how much power did it make before it lost oil pressure" and he couldn't answer! It was then I asked if he had video of it on the dyno or had the dyno sheet and he said no he did not print the sheet! So I asked if he had security footage of it on the dyno with his cameras! He stated they don't work! Paid the dude in full, went on deployment! Took the loss, it was later that I heard what a terrible person and tuner this dude was and i simply left a $550 review! Too make future victims aware before they make the same mistake! Take it from the name and Tim (Gamble) with your money if you want!
