My bike needed new brake pads. Came into this shop with one of my break pads in hand. First of all, this bike shop is lined with high-end e-bikes. Anyway the teller refused to look at the brake pad in hand and insisted on looking at the bike outside in person. I'm like okay.. At first sight of my bike, a Walmart bike I should add, the teller referred us to another bike shop. All I needed was some brake pads of the same type as my bike. It turns out the shop HAD the brake pads I needed but was going to refer us to a different bike shop anyway. Had to convince them to just sell me the brake pads alone so I could get the job done. Also, the allen wrench set they tried to sell me was $40.. I got a pack for $4 at walmart instead. Needless to say, this bicycle shop is no "neighborhood" bicycle shop. If you're a college student like me with a walmart bike or other affordable bike, I don't recommend going here. They might just turn you away unless you have one of their expensive e-bikes. The name of this shop is absolutely misleading. I'll never be back.

If you are just starting out on your biking journey like I currently am, look no further. This shop is owned by an extremely sweet and knowledgeable couple who truly care about their customers. I very recently had my bike fitting and had an excellent experience. They all made me feel so welcomed and comfortable, especially Sara. I highly recommend this amazing bike shop for all bikers.

I bought a mountain bike here because the owner and staff not only knew what they were talking about but also really listened to what I wanted! I highly recommend the Neighborhood bike shop for any bike needs!

I have been to Neighborhood Bicycles several times, but my most recent visit solidified this five star review. My bike had a leak in the brakes, so I took it in for them to look at. They were able to use the existing break line for the repair, saving me from having to buy a new line, and had it back to me the next business day. When I got my bike back, it was spotless. Not only did they fix my issue, they cleaned and maintained my bike free of charge. That's all great, but my favorite thing about the shop is the atmosphere. The workers always seem enthusiastic about answering my cycling questions, regardless of whether I end up buying something or not. I truly cannot recommend Neighborhood Bicycles enough!!
