Rude manager at Pharmacy. I thought I had two prescriptions as my doctor had been at war with the insurance on what they accept. When I arrived there yesterday, I found out one was over the counter (that I didn’t need) and I still thought the other one was a prescription that wasn’t covered by insurance. I was upset at my doctor and left. After thinking it over this morning, I went back to see if I could not get it cheaper through GoodRX and find another doctor if not. When I got there, I updated my info and the man said I had nothing here but over the counter. I was confused, but let him show me anyhow. I concluded I didn’t need the anti-itch cream a second time, but he mentioned the $90 cream again which confused me on whether it was over the counter or prescription that wasn’t in my name anymore.I told him it won’t hurt to check through GoodRX and he did. Three people came over and the manager rudely told me that they don’t those at their station. He also said he didn’t feel for me over the creams’ price. Everyone was staring and I got embarrassed over our miscommunications. I need medicine for my skin condition, but I am not going back to this Walgreens for anything after that.Is it protocol to send a customer to a pharmacy to get two over the counter creams or was that another miscommunication on my doctors part?Whatever. I am letting both of them go.

Very unprofessional move by the pharmacy in Newcastle,OkWe pulled into the lane at 1:29 on Sunday. Min before close at the glass window. Was a car on the other side getting a prescription filled. Pharmacist didn’t even look at us and slammed a closed sign in the window and walked away. Time for a new place

The pharmacy and its' staff at this location lack foresight, leadership and any level of ability to follow through on alternate means of obtaining life-saving medications. Corporate actually has to call them to suggest having another nearby location fill it. The staff here are so lacking in knowledge, skill, and ability that they would sit by and allow you potentially die while waiting for them to get around to getting your monthly medications in. EVERY SINGLE MONTH! I am appalled at today's interactions with them! But every single month they fail to have this medication in stock. The pharmacist on duty today hemmed and hawed and tried to pass the buck and blame their systems and their supply chains in regards to why this is always the case. He failed to take ownership of the problem, he failed to even attempt to find a resolution without me having to contact corporate to contact him. He didn't even have the bare minimum level of professionalism to get on the phone himself and explain until corporate was involved. Further he made attempts to shift the blame onto me, the customer for refilling on a Friday. He stated this as if everyone knows you can't get any refills on a Friday but they have no signs about this, no flyers are handed out, nothing is communicated until there is a problem today. He also tried to shift the blame onto me for being on a medication that they don't often have anyone getting an Rx for...it is INSULIN, not a special insulin, or a new type of it, this stuff is plain old human insulin! You can do better than what this location can provide, their lack of professionalism was on full display when I pulled up to today to get the medications they did have ready. They barely spoke (this isn't the norm at this location) and their vocal tones were cold as if to indicate they weren't pleased to have my business. I assume due to corporate contacting them and me complaining. I would suggest to anyone looking for a pharmacy in the Tri-cities area to look elsewhere.

I live in Newcastle and drive all the way to the Walgreen's in mustang. Pharmacists sometimes forget that their job is to fill medications prescribed by Medical Doctors and their personal opinions do not and should not matter.

This place is the most discriminatory pharmacy I have ever seen I went in one month to get my monthly pain management medicine in which I have been going to this pharmacy for years with no problems and then all the sudden they say they won't fill my pain management prescription because they feel like if you don't have cancer then you can suffer because if your medication is over their equivalent of what they think you should be using they refuse to fill it unless you have cancer I don't think the pharmacy should be able to override the treatments that you're receiving from a licensed doctor When this happened I went in and talked with the manager and he said this was their new policy and even though I require the medication to maintain a manageable lifestyle and be a productive citizen they weren't filling it because I don't have cancer which is terrible because how do they know or not know if I have cancer I was always under the understanding that my health records were between me and my doctor besides what gives them the right to decide who gets their pain managed and who doesn't and how fair is it for a cancer patient to get their pain medicine but for someone that has 24 hour seven Days week extreme feet leg and back pain to not get theirs nobody should have to suffer when there's a remedy for the pain Needless to say I was able to find another pharmacy that's able to keep politics out of their business and treat everybody equally fair with no bias this location is a disgrace
