They have made it where you can't take the shopping carts outside which is very inconvenient when your buying a lot, but they have a problem with people stealing the shopping carts so I understand

Customer service has been great the last few times I have been to the Family Dollar on South York. The only issue is that they don't have the selection on certain items.

I only shop at FD at least I'm not waiting in line because at DG they only have 1 person checking, all of the employees are friendly!! I shop there 4 -6 times per week

The two reasons that I go here is that Family Dollar is not nearly as crowded as Dollar General but their prices are definitely comparable.But the best reason is if the employees or ten times as nice at Family Dollar as they are at Dollar General. I'm never given an attitude when I have a question and I never had to deal with any employees ( like in other places) that obviously really don't like their job and make it very clear that they don't want to be there..... so the friendly employees at Family Dollar are a welcome change. Customer service is everything in a business in my opinion.I also like the fact that they are aligned with Dollar Tree and there a certain Dollar Tree items you can buy there.
