I was behind on my payments and got them caught up on April 25th. It took almost a month for the " rusted out" over lock to be removed. I was told on May 22nd that my lock had to be replaced and my new keys would be mailed to my current address in Moore but I still have no keys. Google says they are open until five on Saturdays, but I have been unable to get anyone to answer the phone on Saturday. I also tried texting the new owner and have not gotten a response. I finally got a text response late Saturday that said he was off that day but that my keys were mailed on Thursday which would have been May 30th. Here it is June 6th and I still have no keys and still can't get through on the phone to talk to the manager. When I have talked to the owner on the phone in the past, he is rude and condescending. All of this after a rate increase. I would have been OK with a rate increase if the customer service was good, but that is not the case.

I really enjoyed this place and my time here. It was close ,clean storage to my apartment and I was willing to pay extra, $58, for the privilege of convenience. Unfortunately, on February 5th I got a text saying it has been sold to sooner state, and now I guess it’s Muskogee self storage. On February 14th I got a text from Jordan giving me a number to call the new owners. I called, left messages, texted and stopped by with no response. I reached Jordan on the 22nd and he said I would be charged $77 on the 1st. I said I wanted to move and he said to clean it out by the first and I wouldn’t be charged. I moved out on Saturday the 24th. I called and Jordan said he would note it. On the 28th, Travis texted me and I called him and he wants me to give “notice.” I said Jordan cleared me already. He said “that’s good enough for us.” Now it’s the first and they tried to charge me $75, which my credit card fortunately declined because it put me over the limit. I cancelled the card and reported the fraudulent charge. This has been a very frustrating experience with these new owners!

I’ve had my storage here for years, the people are great, I’ve had no problems with security but the units are infested with recluse spiders. They try to keep them under control with traps outside but it does not help. Both my storage units have them so bad. There’s spider webs across my stuff and dead shells of bugs all over from what the spiders feed on. I’ve killed a lot of them and have had one run across my hand. These spiders aren’t for the faint of heart, they cause a lot of damage if bitten. I’m very reluctant to bring my things into my new home. We’re using my cousins couch because I don’t know how to let my huge sectional sit outside for any possible recluse spiders to move on. I’d bomb my unit but these spiders are hidden deep in my things and they love card board boxes and are not out in the open for the spray to truly be effective.
