DISHONEST! CONDESCENDING! RUDE!
I took my car to have the timing chain driven internal water pump replaced.
Price changed several times and they fixed things that were not on the work order after I wrote on there "Do not repair anything without calling me first."
Price was over $250 more than first quoted.
The problem:
A/C was working perfectly when I dropped it off.
When I picked it up, the a/c was not working at all.
I felt like they had caused some damage while working on the previous issue.
I called Dallas and he told me to bring it back for him to look at.
I did, and Dallas tried to tell me the compressor was blown because I drove around with coolant leaking onto it too long and that it wasn't anything they did.
I knew it wasn't true. I could tell by his behavior that he was lying.
I called the other owner, Joe. He was just as bad to deal with. His response was, "if your taillight goes out, are you going to blame that on us too?!?"
So, I took it to the Ford dealership. Sure enough, my compressor was just fine. The problem was that "someone" had ratcheted/screwed down BOTH a/c access service ports so tight that they broke.
I had to pay over $300 to get them repaired and have my a/c freon filled.
Do NOT take your car here! Be very wary of all the sudden 5 star reviews.
No one I know will ever do business with them.
Now I wonder if they even replaced the timing chain after charging me for it.
Originally, I didn't post the entire scenario but after seeing the burst of fake 5 star reviews, I decided to just spell it out.
And if anything I have said is called into question, I have receipts. Always keep the receipts!

First time coming here, my truckhad a ticking sound coming from the right side of the motor, and I thought it was a valve spring, and ( I keep forgetting his name, it starts with an 'L') he thought it was the same, without seeing my truck . So when I dropped it off, I got a call after they looked at it, and all it was, was a spark plug wire was bad, it was a $63 charge not the $2800 valve spring replacement I was thinking it was, so because they were honest enough to Diagnosed the real problem and fix it, and not con me out of $2800 on something, I was already convinced on, they did the right thing. So on that I will come back for my engine repairs...

Needed a place to get a pre-purchase inspection done and this place came recommended. I called ahead about one hour before and they got me in and out in about 30 minutes. Very professional and punctual. Had a great experience, the mechanic was very honest and straightforward about the costs and the work that needed to be done on the vehicle we were looking at purchasing. Also, one of the most comfortable auto mechanic shop environments I have ever been in. Will definitely be back whenever I need auto work done!

When my 94’ Mustang left me stranded one night, I had my car towed to Southside Garage. The next morning I talked to Logan and gave him all the symptoms the car was having. Over the next few days, he kept in contact and he updated me on all the problem parts that needed replacing. Having the car back, it drives better than it has in years! Big shout out to Logan and the crew at Southside Garage for getting me back on the road in such a short amount of time!

I am extremely pleased with the service I recieved from The southside garage me being a woman not knowing where to begin, I googled them they got me right in and when I picked my car up it was blowing cold air as I suggested it took a few days but they did a good job...the staff is super sweet. They are the best I will not take my car anywhere else Thank you guys!!!!!

Before taking my car to SouthSide Garage, I talked with three or four of their customers. I, also, read their reviews. Almost, everything was positive. So, I took my car to them. And, my experience was positive, as well. Thanks for your professionalism Logan, Dallas, and Chelsea.

We have had two vehicles serviced at Southside garage and are very happy customers. It is great to have a mechanic who can take care of your vehicles properly and no the price is right and the service and support is fabulous. It makes it much better to be able to drive a used vehicle and not be out the expense of buying a new one at today's prices.

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS MECHANIC I WASTED OVER $3,000 JUST TO BREAK DOWN 9 HOURS INTO A 19 HOUR TRIP! THIS WAS THE DAY AFTER I GOT MY CAR BACK FOR THE THIRD! I had to take my car back 3x over an oil leak that they supposedly fixed. After the third time they told me there was 6 other things wrong with my car after they “fixed” a $3,000 problem. (Let’s not forget the $140 in Ubers that it took to drop and pick this car up. They didn’t care at all when I let them know that this is still hitting my pockets.) This shop took my car for over a month, took $3,000, and never fixed the issues. I was told by the owner that it is my fault that the car had an oil leak that I SAID TO GET FIXED BUT THEY DIDNT. Stated, “you have three oil leaks, but we only fixed two because we didn’t see the other one. You will have to pay the us more to fix this leak.” I don’t think it’s good business for a customer to ask to repair the oil leak in their vehicle. Instead of repairing the entire leak they did a half baked job and I still have a MASSIVE oil leak. This oil leak was one of the three that I had. Apparently when you ask a mechanic to fix your oil leak and they don’t fix your oil leak, then it is actually your fault and they want more money. LETS NOT FORGET THAT THEY SAID THERE WAS A VERY MINOR OIL LEAK AFTER THEY FIZED TWO OUT OF THREE. 5.5 quarts of oil leaked within an 8 hour drive is way more than a “minor” leak. (Mechanics and owner told me it was minor. 5.5 quarts of oil leaking out in 8 hours is anything but minor.)
This shop knew I was taking my vehicle from Oklahoma to Pennsylvania and I had to BEG them to fix my car. After $3,000 they still did not fix it. They actually told me it would be AT LEAST another $3,000 to fix my “clutch” which Logan the service advisor said was my problem. I loved the the owner called me after and told me that I don’t even have a clutch in my car. When I corrected the owner he stated, “well if he says it does then I wouldn’t doubt it.” Then why did you just say I don’t even have a clutch and it was just my entire transmission needing to be replaced? So which one is it, clutch or transmission? I’m guessing it’ll be whichever one makes this shop the most money.
These people are massive crooks and Logan is possibly one of the worst service advisors in the world. The owner is a money hungry clown who has no idea what he’s doing or talking about.
WHEN YOU TELL SOMEONE YOU ARE GOING TO REFUND THEM BECAUSE, “You and your vehicle have become a nightmare and a headache.” Then after throwing your hands in the air and treating your customer like garbage, you have your owner call and tell them that you won’t fix anything I PAID TO HAVE FIXED and you won’t refund me my money.
IF YOU WANT YOUR VEHICLE TO BREAK DOWN, THIS SHOP IS THE ONE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR! IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE IT IS YOUR FAULT THAT A MECHANIC DOESN'T FIX YOUR VEHICLE AFTER YOU PAY THEM $3,000 THEN THIS IS YOUR PLACE! IF YOU WANT A SERVICE ADVISOR (LOGAN) TO TREAT YOU LIKE AN ANNOYANCE AND A BURDAN THEN YOU WON’T NEED TO LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE OTHER THAN HERE!
LASTLY, TO THE OWNER! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF KNOWING MY FAMILY AND I MOVED ACROSS THE COUNTRY, AND BECAUSE OF YOU, WE GOT STUCK ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY WITH NO SERVICE AT 11:30PM AT NIGHT. LUCKILY I HAD OIL IN MY CAR EVEN THOUGH YOU TOLD ME THE OIL LEAK WAS MINOR. IF I DIDNT HAVE OIL IN MY TRUNK WE WOULD HAVE BEEN STUCK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD FOR OVER 10 HOURS WAITING ON OUR RIDE. THE WAY YOU HAVE DONE BUSINESS IS THE EXACT REASON WHY SHOPS HAVE A BAD NAME. Luckily this horrible garage has a warranty that is backed by an aftermarket company. So if they do mess up your vehicle after saying the have fixed it, you have the option to take the vehicle to someone who actually knows what they are doing. (:
Southside Garage, do better. I hope that you go out of business sooner rather than later so nobody has to deal with the crap that you and your company pulled on me. You are the exact reason why mechanics get a bad wrap. Yo

They made my AC cold again. Top notch. Told me which parts were defective and the way forward. They performed an overall inspection on my car and told me where i can improved .y quality of maintenance. Gave me the parts that i needed for another suspension problem that i have with no additional charge. Thanks for keeping me cool this summer
