I absolutely love their pizza. But There is underlying issues of discrimination within the corporate. I was discriminated against today for something that happened almost 15 yrs ago. Almost 10 yrs after the 5 yrs of history the application asked for. It wasn't a felony, it wasn't violent, and it happened during my past employment there. I sold alcohol to a minor unintentionally. Even though I followed company guidelines, which at the time said the customer had to look over 45 yrs old, Which the person did, I received a horrible life changing charge. This charge has caused me so much grief fresh out of high-school. I graduated a yr before it happened. Now, almost 15 yrs later, after policy and laws have been changed, I haven't came across a job that ever even thought twice about giving me a chance. Since then, I've received a liqueur license, I've worked as a waiter serving alcohol, was a bar hop, sold alcohol at a few convienance stores, and even helped serve alcohol at local events on main street where I volunteered to help the elks lodge serve the great citizens of our town. Love's however, is stuck in the past. A past they don't even inquire about in the application. A past that shouldn't even be brought into the picture because the application only goes back 5 yrs. They can't get passed something that happened, something that I shouldn't have gotten fired for, strictly because I was following policy. I deserved the ticket, I don't argue there. But everyone knows people learn their lesson. And just because they slipped once, doesn't mean they can't regain traction and be the best person possible. Luckily there are plenty of places that DONT discriminate. I've paid my dues and time for that crime. I shouldn't be punished anymore for something I legally took care of and corrected. They might as well deny me for getting a D on a 7th grade math quiz. It was only 5 yrs prior to the citation after all. Never shopping there again until this gets fixed.

Stopped for gas and a sandwich. Took one out of the cooler and asked if I could get vegetables on it. "Why don't I make you a fresh one?" Of course! Had the best chicken ranch sub with lots of veggies. People very nice and accommodating. Thank you!
