We came to Tadpoles Marine looking to get my boat fixed. Terrible and entitled people. They act like they own everything and that they are above the law. Just letting the public know that scumbags own this place. These people live on Widow Moore ln. And they openly drink alcohol while operating a boat with minors on board at Widow Moore creek. The lake at the end of the street. I’m pretty sure that’s against the law but your above that cause your friends with the sheriff. I’ll be watching. Obey the law or pay the price. You think you would know the law about boating while under the influence of alcohol better than anyone, You guys own a marine.

$375.00 later, and the only thing they actually did was top of my tilt/trim fluid. They busted the knob off my trailer jack and said my jack plate solenoids were new. I have relays that are epoxy built, which tells me they didn't even look at them, which was the main reason I took it to them. Pat was gone out of town, and I was told he would call me, never heard anything from them. I ended up replacing the bad relays for $50.00. Go to wild bills for your boat mechanical needs

I am a recreational fisherman in Denison in the market for a new boat and I know where I won’t be buying it. I saw Steven Caldwell’s post with a link to these reviews and to reply stating he wrecked his boat is a flat out lie. That is just deflection and not owning your mistakes and shows a huge lack of integrity. I’ll make the drive down to Cabela’s.

because zero stars isn't an option and I don't like doing these reviews. This was not my first new boat purchase. I have bought 6 new boats in my life and never had anything close to this bad of an experience. I put a deposit down on a 2023 close-out in December and my first red flag was probably that they started rigging the wrong boat. The second red flag was probably when they stated they have never rigged an aluminum boat to this level of tournament ready. When I do finally go to pick up the new boat it was seriously the filthiest new boat I have ever seen. No pride. Also, the paperwork reflected the list price and not the discounted price. They argued with me that it did not matter but I insisted they redo the paperwork to reflect the actual price I paid. Thank goodness because the tag office said I was right and it would have cost me $250 more in taxes. I put the boat in the water and OMG what a disaster:
1. Livewell pumps did not work.
2. Raptor pumps leaked.
3. Boat leaked bad.
4. Ultrex did not function correctly.
5. Trailer tires unbalanced and had only 15-20 lbs of pressure each.
6. Left out seat pedestal and paddle that typically come with it.
7. Something wrong with the steering.
On top of that my title came back showing the motor was a 2022 model when all the paperwork stated 2023 and I was told by them it was a 2023. I called Mercury and they confirmed it was a 2022 (I am still undecided if I want to take them to court for that easy money)
Took the boat back and they cleaned at it. Did not fix the trolling motor. Got the bilge and the livewell pump wiring switched. Never touched the trailer tires. So after picking it up and putting it in the water the trolling motor was still jacked, the bilge did not work and the steering was still acting funny.
Took it back the 2nd time. After picking it up the trolling motor was still doing the same thing, never touched the trailer and the steering was still jacked. I told the owner what the steering was doing and he just shrugged his shoulders. I did my own research and realized there were air bubbles in the system probably caused by a leak I found on a fitting.
Took it back the 3rd time and they finally took the trolling motor to a certified repair facility and now it's good but when they re-installed it, it looked like a 3rd grader did it so I had to completely redo all the cables which I know they know better than to use strap ties because they used electrical tape the first time. It just shows their lack of concern. They already got my money. Not once did they ever offer to pick up or deliver the boat to my house since it was completely on them that the boat had issues.
I have since noticed the jack plate had a quarter inch gap/play in it between the transom. Totally unsafe and if you could see the video I shot of it you would laugh. What a joke!! My wife filmed me as I lifted the motor. So with all the issues like the air bubbles in the steering, etc. I have decided to take it to Cabela's or Bass Pro. I don't trust that place to even work on it any further. Also, I have spent hundreds more having electrical redone because there were better ways to rig it and they just either don't seem to care or know enough about how to do it the best way.
All the new boats I have purchased in the past went without a hitch and if there were issues those dealers handled it. Maybe Tadpole just wasn't making enough money on my deal so they just didn't want to fool with me. What makes me even more upset is that they treated me like I was a high maintenance customer after writing them a check for $45K. Being a retired businessman myself I just don't understand that kind of treatment. If somebody just wants a standard pontoon boat or aluminum boat for recreation purposes then they will probably be ok here but if you're a serious tourna

I have bought several boats from Tadpoles Marine, and had service done on many others. I highly recommend you check them out. This is the only place I buy boats from or do business with. Their service and hospitality is next to none ?

I’ve bought a few new boats over the years from different dealers. My last two have come from Tadpoles. They’ve done an amazing job outfitting my bass boat for me and my pontoon for my family. Love this place and the owner Pat is a down to earth good dude. Best dealership in the state??

Tadpoles has been outstanding! They have gone above and beyond for me fishing the college trails. I had an alternator go out at Pickwick Alabama and they had a new one shipped and in my hands the next day. They are one of the best in the business and have the best customer service around.

Tadpoles Marine has been my go-to boat dealer for going on 7 years. Between myself and two of my boys, we own 3 bass boats that have all come from Pat and Michael and their team. I can say without hesitation, that the level of service and attention to detail keeps me coming back. Not once, have I taken my boat in for service and been dissatisfied with the work performed. My youngest son is completing his final year fishing at the collegiate level and Tadpoles has supported him through all 4 years. They have gone out of their way to assure his boat and trailer are ready for the numerous cross-country trips he makes, and that he is ready for a trouble-free tournament. As an example, he was in a tournament on Lake Pickwick, and on the third practice day his alternator went out, one quick call to Pat and he had an alternator overnighted to Alabama and walked him through the process of changing it out. This level of service is hard to find these days and I am truly grateful for the little dealership in Mead Oklahoma.

Had some upgrades, installs, and prop work done. Checked a few things out that I had concerns with and even with all this crazy weather going on around us, the team at Tadpole’s Marine got me taken care of. I really appreciate that they will take time to explain the issues and remedies. Quick turnaround, outstanding service, and a price that actually put a smile on my face. Overall great customer service. Thank you to the entire team and staff.
